Hey look, another rotating world game!
I don't know if anyone's mentioned this yet, but the center of rotation seems to always be around where you start, and not where you actually are. This made things pretty hard for the larger maps, because the further you got, the more aggressively the walls would move during rotations. Also, I'm not exactly sure how the jumping mechanic was supposed to work, so I just beat the game without it.

I like how even though there were a few rotating world games this jam, we all had our own takes on the implementation. Would love to see this concept polished further!

The center of rotation at the the start is intentional it creates more movement in the some areas. I understand this games physics but they are hard to explain

Great game! It reminded me of Elevator Boy, if you know that xD
I loved playing it, I had a great time. I really like the game mechanic, it does not get boring.
Unfortunately, in the fifth level, I managed to fall through the barriers and by the forth time, the game glitched and the character got stuck in the air. A resetGame button would have been helpful for that case  :)

Developer

thanks, I though I had made the level 5 barriers fill the screen but I must have missed an area.

I liked it a lot! The concept of the game is really original to me and intuitive!

the game was fun but lacked some visual improvement like falling animation etc. and there was a bug where i fell from a whole and kept falling. everything else is fun and great

Developer

okay, you must have missed have been an area where I missed the death box.

I never really got the hang of the jump, but there were quite a few things you managed to show off in the levels. Maybe there needed to be a "boost" option or an instant 180 turn or something, it felt like there was room for another mechanic, but good job with the game!

Cool idea! The movement feels a bit stiff in my opinion, sometimes the jump doesnt seem to work, or the gravity seems to pull me another way, there seems to be some sort of bug with the spinning causing the visuals to kind of shake (don't really know how to explain sorry) in some levels the camera also seems to follow the player too agressively leading to not being able to see the level properly

Developer

As you start going upside the movement begins to reverse. The web version does make it a bit glitchy.

The audio was funny for about a minute but it was admittedly a pretty funny minute. Couldn't beat I think it was level 5? the flip. Cool concept rotating the world around you, jump didn't feel intuitive at all though

Developer

I can send a clip on how to beat that level, I was planning on adding one to the itch page anyway.
