pretty serious and cute  bird. what his name?

Cool game! Congrats on your first game, it really came out great!
A couple of things  noticed that could use some improvements: you are controlling a drone, it should not get stuck on benches and light poles, on some tall building sure, but not all of them. And a map or some instructions to where the next delivery should be will help a lot. Other than that, the game looks really fun!

A really cute and fun little game! I do think that having a waypoint of some kind would be really helpful, but overall I really like it and I hope you keep making fun stuff! Awesome work!

Also congratulations on your first game! :)

Thank you so much!

Fun concept with a great presentation! I faced a couple of UI scaling issues but otherwise it was a very solid experience

Developer

Scaling has been a nightmare for me to figure out…definitely on my notes to work on for future work (amongst others things)

My friend's business reputation is in the grounds.. together with the boss's new car.. multiple times, Great game! seriously done, realized the sprite for the item you carry looks like is on a kind of weird offset from the drone

Developer

Haha glad you had fun! The offset is my quick and dirty solution of avoiding the player’s hitbox that blocks the pizza sometimes … very sophisticated problem solving :)

a thing that would make the game feel much more fun - not that it isn't! - would be if the camera was slightly more zoomed in / dynamic, so that the movement felt more fast as opposed to just a relatively slow panning camera. for a delivery game, i feel like it's quite important to exude a feeling of rush, even if there isn't a timer.
your game development journey has started off pretty strong, hope you keep going :)

This was very fun, and congrats on your first game/jam! One bit of quality-of-life you could consider adding is a 'waypoint' arrow that points from near the drone in the direction of the yellow circle (a couple times I felt like I kind of had to wander to find where the yellow spot was). Overall though, a polished and fun experience, so well done!

Congrats on your first game jam! Unfortunately, I have to admit I completely ruined my friend's business... and the dream car too. 🙂I enjoyed it.

Developer(+1)

Haha glad you had fun!

Hopefully i can build my skills to your level someday!

Thank you, that really means a lot! 😊 I'm still learning too, and every game jam teaches me something new. Just keep making games and don't give up—you'll improve faster than you think. Looking forward to playing your next game!

Developer

Thank you for your encouraging words! I appreciate it.

Congrats on your first game jam!

I like the vibe, and at the end of the day, the pizzas we delivered were the friends we made along the way.

The position of the pizza on the drone is a little weird, and I also feel like the theme could be more present.

8 slices of pizza out of 8.

Developer

Hahaha ill take it! Loved creating my first game and really appreciate people are taking the time to play it.

That pizza location is my creative way of dealing with avoiding the player’s hitbox that kept the pizza from ricocheting off of the player (we do sophisticated problem solving over here…:) )

Submitted

I feel stupid because I still haven't figured out the mechanics of throwing pizza, but it looks cute!

Developer

that on me not you - the instructions are easily missable! one of the last things I added before the deadline

Submitted(+1)

I wasn’t exactly sure where I was delivering pizzas to, the yellow circle was a not very clear to me. But once I understood the game better I was able to make some good quality pizza deliveries. :)

I really liked the look of the town, it was teeming with detail! And well done on your first game! Making games is not easy, but its very rewarding. Keep going and best of luck!

Developer(+1)

Thank you!

I agree it's super rewarding. I had actual tears of joy when the game went up on itch and was working...!

yoo good job on submitting your first game B) the game was alot of fun and especially with 4 endings it def added alot of replayablity, now i'd say the music and art could've used more work, but dw you'll def get alot better with time :) also maybe if you made it that you get some bonus time depending on how you deliver the pizzas that would make it better! other than that you did well

Developer (1 edit) (+1)

Really appreciate your feedback! thank you for taking the time to play. I completely agree so many things could be improved and I will continue working on my skills :)

i am genuinely so bad at this game LOL but this was so cool ESPECIALLY FOR UR FIRST JAM (i relate) u should be really really proud of urself this was madly impressive

Developer

thank you truly for this. I am still in shock the game works...I keep expecting to log on and see the thing combust...

Submitted(+1)

This was a really fun game, definitely a learning curve which was fun! I think I got all four of the endings, really had me stressing to get to the balanced ending. Big complements for the graphics and music they were really fun. Some improvements could be to where the pizza sits as it makes aiming quite unintuitive and maybe a mini map or arrow to show where the pizza needs to be delivered. But amazing game really had me giggling!

Developer

Wow thank you so much for taking the time to play my first game fully! Im SO grateful for this gamejam experience and cant believe my game actually functions!
I appreciate the feedback on the improvements, i will work on learning how to make a mini map :)

Submitted(+1)

Love your humor, damn, my boss didn't get his new car! :) Nicely done for your first game jam :) Game feel is nice and you have a solid loop!
I didnt get that there was a timer haha, maybe that should be a bit more prominent with sound effects and a display :) and I recommend getting choosing a fixed color palette that unifies the saturation and range of colors you use

Developer

Thank you so much for  playing and for the feedback! I really appreciate all the tips.

Submitted(+1)

Very cool game!! I do find it a bit weird on where the pizza lays, and also the theme is not neccesary when playing but only if you take risks nice game!!!

Developer

haha yes you can tell I really struggle with art :) Thank you so much for playing!
