I think this is a pretty cool idea for a project tbh, it has a lot of potential! However, its way to hard at the start and also hard to dodge the notes.

Very cool. It whooped my butt. I loved the perspective shift on the record at the start. Great work!

Fun idea and game. I think the game is a bit too punishing at first. It would have been nice if the difficulty gradually increased over time. Good job to the team.

Impresive how the audio reacts and great visuals, nice idea of the theme, enjoyed it!

Pretty cool game! I really like the concept of advancing or reversing the song with the movemtent. You could surely explore even more the idea after the jam, it would be so nice!!

I loved the concept! I find it kinda hard to play, maybe I'm just a noob xD.

The pixel art is cool, but if the size of the pixels was fixed (there's some pixels larger than others), the game would be even prettier.

Pretty cool game, congrats :)

Nice game! Seems we had a simmilar idea :)

Struggled a bit at first, but then I locked in and beat the level no hit.

While the forward/backward running mechanic is cool, it feels a bit unbalanced. Since you need to run forward as much as possible to progress through the level, moving backward ends up feeling like a punishment rather than a viable option. On top of that, the jumping mechanic feels out of place to me as well. Given these issues, I agree that the suggested autorunning approach by the other person seems like the right direction.

But for a first game this is a very great job :)

Glad to see this one out! I don't have any real feedback besides what I gave in the playtest while it was in development, especially that the gameplay felt more suited to auto-runner controls instead of platformer since there's not much point in going left and the record imparts forced movement anyways, but it's still a very solid entry in all regards.

Hey there, awesome game, I really like the hole concept that you actually have to run to the right direction of the vinyl to make the track end actually, This is a really cool concept i think. The only thing i think i missed was that the music could actually be in reverse when you run the wrong direction, i think that would have expended the whole running on the vinyl aspect. Anyways you should explore this whole concept more, maybe with a bigger more in depth game even, i think you really got something here ! Also the intro animation was really smooth with the whole vinyl flattening !

It was to hard.
