I really thought this was going to be a relaxing game because of the visuals and the music… then suddenly I was being attacked by crows, thunder, and raindrops.. xD It completely caught me by surprise! Nice
This has been honestly one of my favorite games I have seen around here. The atmosphere and idea were exactly my sort of thing, I thought the cozy and wholesome vibe was amazing.
I liked the music, it was so calming, and the graphics were obviously absolutely beautiful.
The game mechanics were the right combination of easy to understand but sometimes a bit difficult (it took me some time with the waterdrops), which made me really enjoy this game.
You did a great job, I would have loved more levels because I had such a good time playing the first one. I really loved it!
This is so immersive and beautiful!! The gameplay was intuitive and fast-paced, the music calm but emotional and the background was just serene!
I'm so in love with the soundtrack and sfx, you did a really good job
Loved it, art and atmosphere is spot on. The lightning visual I felt didn't match the rest of the graphic style. Overall great!
I love how relaxing this game is. It reminds me of Alto's Odyssey. I love also the parallax effect you added to the branch as it adds depth visually. The visuals and music are great! I think a little more juice would make it even more better like as suggested by the previous comment to add some audio feedback, particle effects on the leaf, or something like that.
This may be subjective but in terms of creativity and theme adherence, same with the other games that I've rated, I don't think it doesn't feel like spin to win. One thing I could explain this is if you just change the animation of the leaf like a simple floating effect only and throw away the spinning part of the game, it would not really affect the game overall.
Overall, it was a great game! It was pretty enjoyable too! Good job and congratulations!
Thanks for the feedback!
I'm gonna take a look at Alto's Odyssey, didn't hear of it before.
Since this is my first game, I was pretty overwhelmed by the workload and sadly didn't have much time to add more details. To be honest, I didn't even think about audio feedback or particle effects.
That's true, the gameplay wouldn't change even if the leaf didn't spin. But since it wasn't mandatory to make spinning a mechanic and I liked the idea of a maple key falling down, I stuck with it. I did think about making spinning a mechanic, but it felt forced so I decided to scrap the idea. If it had been a mechanic, it would've fit the theme even better, but the gameplay would've been worse, so it wouldn't have been worth it
Great chill vibes. The gameplay is a bit less chill though, I couldn’t get past the point where all the obstacles come at once. But great submission!
A really serene experience until you are suddenly struck by lightning. good game.
Omg the vibes are immaculate, LOVE the sound design! 10/10 gameplay even though I sucked at it :)
Very peaceful overall, even when you're trying to avoid the obstacles. I found myself in meditative mode!!
Incredible game I love it
Nice art! I especially like the background, the clouds etc. Sometimes it lacks audio but still this is a nice cozy game, i like it
Thanks! If you like the background art, consider clicking the link mentioned in the credits section
The visuals and audio work really well together to set up this melancholic mood, well done !
