simple but neat little game. i wish the spinning mechanic were a bit more integrated into the game, like if the middle room was a tower and you'd be going up and down like an elevator. it would be hard, but it would look awesome

Cool idea. I was a little confused with what to do and tried interacting with everything in the map and eventually found my way to the end. I wish more things were interactable since I feel like there was not much to do. I did really like the game though and getting through it was fun. Good job!
the idea of rooms that change when you spin is definitely interesting! i think it was a little unclear how to proceed, and big z didnt seem to care about me paying respects. i wish more things in each room were interact-able, i think it would help a lot!
I like the idea, a bit rough around the edges tho
(also w thumbnail)
Big Z is not so mean, Big Z is just misunderstood.
The game’s concept is solid, and the visuals are nice. There’s a strong foundation here to build off of, it just needs a little more content!
Great job on this game!
That was actually quite solid! I could see mechanics like this working well in a bigger project if they get fleshed out a little more!
I will say though that personally the spinning room made me a little nauseous :P
Cute game and concept but I am very prone to motion sickness and spinning the room triggers it pretty bad. I'm not really sure how you'd counter this but I figured I'd mention it so you are aware.
Those seem like good ideas! I was actually thinking about this at work yesterday lol. I think maybe if you create a circle of darkness around the edges of the screen while it's spinning it might help. A lot of motion sickness things in VR do something similar when you are walking and I think shrinking/de-emphasizing the amount of spinning content would help a ton.
I really like the mysterious mood, and the music sets the tone really well.
You could have more animations though. If you just move the pixels on each legs of your MC up by one each frame, it already makes it look a litte more polished. It's easy to do and doesn't take much time.
Me when the room spins
I liked the cryptic nature of this game, though I think some aspects could have served more of a purpose, such as Zilla or the pentagrams on the floor.
