Once again trying to get my posts approved.

I'm emailing support for the third time, since my pending posts still haven't been approved even after the better part of a year. Request (381657). I really hope this actually does something this time, because this is really disheartening. How are you supposed to communicate with devs if you can't leave posts?

I feel sorry, Is it a blog post, because mine haven’t got accepted either yet. I totally get your frustration. From one dev to another, I hope your post gets accepted soon, I hope mine do too. We’re just trying to be devs, talking to other devs, maybe showing our games to the world, and they just take forever to approve! I totally agree dude.

Okay, I seem to be able to leave posts again, which is good, but my pending posts are still pending. Do I need to contact the game devs themselves to approve my comments on their games?

I’ve let our admins know about your ticket.

I think it would be more helpful to let the back-end developers know, or even the server maintenance people. This is a widespread problem - many people have been unable to comment for a while, and those people are also getting no reply to their tickets. Related Github issues also have nobody assigned. Can you at least ask the admins what they're busy with, because this should be a high priority problem.

I have no way to contact itch.io staff, and can’t demand explanations from our admins.

I'm pretty sure that itch is just going to ignore the problem in the hopes that people stop talking about it. I have been waiting for some help since last year, and still nothing. I've sent in emails, I've posted here, got told the admins were let know, and the only thing I have gotten is automated responses saying new tickets have been opened, even when I respond to previous emails from itch.

The problem is, that the moderator of a game's comment section is the developer and Itch does not notify the developers that there are pending posts.

Most developers probably do not even know where to click to see those pending posts.
