oh man I think i'm a bit late to this one, the level up mechanism seems to rely on other players being present and have them touch tips. Which doesn't work when nobody is around.

Love the idea though

Developer

You can invite a friend or even another device such as your phone to try it out. I've also put a bot at the centre of the world for that purpose.

I hope you still had fun!

Really cool and impressive. I made a little witch in reference to my game.

This was Amazing,,,, Keep My Lizard safe

Developer

Wow it is amazing, on of my favorite art so far!

Don't forget to add the ID of your game on your island, with that you can advertise it through your lizard !

Really cool idea and execution. I had fun painting a little picture and completely forgot about time passing :)

Developer

I'm very happy to gear that ;)
Did you add your game id?

Great! You correctly used the purpose of my game then, I'm glad :)

I played it and I honestly loved it . The color-merging mechanic is amazing, until I forget to click the lock button and someone merges with me right while I'm painting... haha :). The map looks nice and the concept is fun, Congrats to the team ^-^

Developer(+1)

Haha I'm glad to hear the lock button was useful!

Thanks

This is crazy for a gamejam man.

The concept is amazing! Definitely one of the more creative ways to utilize the theme.

I got confused as to why sometimes my entire island would move to a different location, kind of destroying the point of preparing an entire tile around the surrounding. I would stay longer and paint for a bit more if it wasn't for that. The idea of claiming new colors could also be communicated a bit better - I tried to unlock them by holding it with color picker, while it seemed like I had to use a drawing tool for some weird reason.

Developer

I had the idea to make a leaderboard with the most liked island in the centre but it comes at the cost of moving the island around when this leaderboard changes.

I have the ability to turn that off and I will probably do it at the end of the gamejam so that we keep that memory. It will still be playable tho so we could make the margin between island prettier!

You're very welcome to come again

If you want to do other drawings, you can save your account by saving your token and create a new one, this will give you another island.

I implemented the eyedropper at the very end of the jam thanks to a feedback, and you're right, that should be the tool to use to take new colors.

Initially, you could obtain new colors by merging with other people but Raysan told me that the game needed to be playable alone so I had to find another way to obtain new colors.

Thanks for the feedback, I'm looking forward to implement it as soon as the voting period ends!

This is a crazy concept for a jam game, and integrating it into the jam judging process like you did is genius. Great work!

Developer

Thanks a lot!
