Project not appearing in search after 6 months

I upload a game asset 6 months ago. why is it still not showing up in Search?

No-one in the forum can tell you for sure, but the most common cause in my experience is publishing a page before it’s ready. Then it remains unindexed because creators also don’t promote their projects like the FAQ recommends. I’ll help speed things up for you.

It's true I didn't promote my project. but I Completed it before publishing - I did add thumbnail , Screenshots and downloadable file.

I also set visibility and access to public, Checkoff Unlisted in search.

Are there other things that I Forgot ?

Wow... 6 months? I published my game over 15 days ago, and it's still not indexed either. I was already getting worried, but after seeing your post, I'm really concerned now. 😅 Hopefully itch.io can get both of our projects indexed soon. Good luck!

I just saw that yesterday my project got 11 views, then I search for my project and it's showing up although I don't know why I haven't made any changes.
