Hi guys, Im Sante. A fledgling 3D artists and UI Designer. I want to make games but I have severe dyscalculia which makes it extreme hard for me to learn how to code. So im just gonna stick to the artsy and writing side lol. I hope one day I can meet up with someone to create games based on heavy subjects.

Hello Sante, nice to meet you! Can't wait to see your art on your profile. Hope you share it soon ☺️

hello guys, I'm new to this itch.io stuff, Best plattform for what I'm seeing, easy to updoad game, I'm ukrainen, Belarus, Russian and a lil bit German, But I jus have a problem trying to make my game down loadable AND play in browser for free, I figured out how to add an extra file, but idk how to put the URL of my file into there and stuff

hello welcome to itch! not sure how to do that myself, when I figure it out ill let you know!

bet

Hey bro, not hating on itch.io much, but why are there a bunch of dating and gay games on this plattform?? I don't like when there's just straight freaky crap when i load up the website

Hi Drifta, I checked your game and I liked it. I love when a game tests your reflexes 😅

Your welcome. Also, I got bunch of games Im working(was) on, but gonna take a while for me finish them.

Take your time finishing them and I'm looking forward to playing them. Keep creating great games ✌️

Hi i just graduated and im working on a physic based game right now ( My First Game :) )

hello, congrats!

GG !

Physic is fun when it works. But it can be very frustrating when it doesn't work. Or very hilarious when it work in unexpected ways :-) !

Hello! I've been working on a text based adventure and dungeon crawler game. It has both rogue and soul-like qualities. If you want to check it out, there's a demo. The game is coming out in seven days :D

Hi guys, i'm toms! I gathered a bunch of hit browser games and built a website around them. It's now live – free, unlimited, and playable directly in your browser!

Here's my game: https://www.playfiddlebops.com/     https://pizza-edition.net/

Hello! My name is Greg.  I have been a server and network admin for over 30 years and have been involved in helping others host their web sites and games, including sites like chess.com and cases ladder

I just put my Crypt game on here.  I loved nethack and built my own version with some really cool easter eggs :)

My web site with some other games I am building can be found here:    cogg.com

Greetings to all my fellow game friends :)

Nice server you have there. Have you ever thought about making educational games? I have created one you could assess.

all my games are semi educational, but yeah i should do that too

Hi everyone! I'm Jay,

I cut my teeth on an Atari 2600 (yep, I'm old), and as a kid I'd collect as much pocket money as I could to play the Ninja Turtles arcade machine at the local convenience store. Soon enough my friends had C64s and Amiga's, at one point I had a TRS80, then came Nintendo, Sega, Playstation and eventually PC. That's where gaming started for me, and it's stuck with me ever since. Somewhere along the way I became a software developer too, which probably wasn't a coincidence.

These days AAA feels like it's lost its appeal quite a bit for me, maybe it's a dopamine problem, lol. Same formulas, same monetisation tricks, same games over and over, worst of all, none of the community feel that made this hobby special in the first place. That's part of why I'm here. I'm hopeful that indie is where the actual ideas live, and where people still make games because they want to, not because (insert AAA publisher here) told them to.

I've always wanted to make my own games, just never got around to it. Finding itch.io was the push I needed. So now I'm finally doing it, building the games I always wanted to make and play.

I am new here! Say hi! Do you guys know Silver Case? or Clock Tower? let me know!

Hi,

On the main page, you can perform a search for the games you're looking for.

I am NOT searching for games here, I am searching for friends to talk here! :(

Hi :)

This app is so terrible, no chat or anything besides posting comment on topics! What the maker of Itchio expect us to do in order to reach out audience or socialize? Discord is not a option for me and sadly I guess thats what Itchio is expecting every fellow dev around here to use? Kiss my ass maybe I should switch back to Game Jolt since theres chat and also making communities there but sadly its not as talkative or active as here but at least this place is not full of cursed or stupid looking creepypasta Sonic games that Game Jolt is full with. I just wanted a break from that place plus the toxicity there from Game Jolt is horrible there honestly. I am hoping this is a nicer place and so far the only thing good I see around here is not as much creepy pasta Sonic and haven’t seen much drama here compared to Game Jolt lol.

Show post...

For real! I got a Gamejolt account, do you want to be friends on therr

please never return to gamejolt we do not miss you gng

is that insult? fk off.

you know what you did to them. i dont think im the one who needs to. im just making sure you dont taint my warm homesite again. we both know why no one would talk to you. see you never

Did what? I don’t know you or remember talking to you before. You must be some random troll looking for trouble and Im not going to waste my precious few minutes with you! Waste your time trolling somebody else instead of me, WEIRDO! 🖕

you remind me of some idiot from twitter before back in 2020 December, calling me a pedo while stalking me from one platform and another! who knows if its YOU? 😡

Will you mind your own goddamn business? Seriously you need to FK OFF! 🖕 I have NOTHING to do with you in the first place! I do not know you before and if we never met you wouldn’t be harassing me like this.

I am Rex Virago. I use AI to assist me in producing extreme pulp smut... After finding out about what is popular in the world of erotica from my ex (monsters, kinks, etc.) and having a discussion with my current partner (an erotica author) about AI. I decided to see if I could push Grok to its limits.

Not yet. Grok is a freak. I did, however, push myself past some limits. I've always been able to world build and create stories, but haven't been able to get it out. I've always been hypersexual, and enjoyed gritty violent content and taboo concepts.

I got into it... and am having a good time. I'm not trying to make a living at this, so it remains a creative outlet rather than an obligation. As I go along, I am going to get deeper into action and noir elements. I'm ultimately shooting for a XXX Philip K. Dick meets Ralph Bakshi meets Robert E. Howard vibe across multiple subgenres.

I want to stress again that my productions are extreme. The trigger warnings are not to be taken lightly.

If that's your thing, check it out. Everything is name your price.

I'm a 3D animator, and I made my first game. I don't know how to program, so I made the game using Playmaker

Good day, everyone!

I'm a wannabe indie game dev starting from scratch. trying to learn game dev using Godot. I'm very excited  to have started this and not just daydream about it.  I'm in my mid 40s now. i'm hoping to get a break and not to let age be a a hinderance in my learning and creation journey!
hoping to learn from everyone here while also doing my part in supporting however i can to anyone in need.

i'm currently writing my 1st fantasy book, which i will then base my card/board game. I also have another 1 on the side. A pokemon-ish collection battle.

So, yeah, nice to meet everyone!

Cheers!

Hey everyone! Just to introduce myself properly: O.W.T.F.A is a one-person project, made by an atypical dev (ADHD + Autism) who uses AI agents a lot to stay organized and focused. I’m a bit obsessed with rock-solid netcode and performance, so even though it’s a small indie game, I’m pushing for multiplayer quality that feels like it could come from a bigger studio.Behind all the technical stuff there’s a very real and personal goal: this game is my best shot at finally finishing the house I’ve been building. My family and I have been living in a mobile home for the past 3 years, and every sale, every download, and every bit of feedback genuinely brings us closer to having a real home. It’s a true passion project, crafted by hand with a lot of love (and probably too much coffee), and I’m incredibly grateful to anyone who gives it a chance. If you jump into the chaotic races, leave feedback, or just drop a kind word, it means the world to me.Thank you for being part of this little human adventure!

Hi guys! I'm Sandro from Portugal, I LOVE videogames since I was 6, fell in love when I saw my dad play Double dragon, 1942, Golden Axe etc. I had ZX Spectrum, Commodore Amiga, Nintendo clone (those that had like 9999 games lol) and lastly PC.
I never thought I could ever make my own game, but now I released my first, at 44 years old! (yes I met dinossaurs!)

I dabble in graphics, music, video and basically everything that I find cool. These skills that I thought were kinda useless have proven super valuable in making games, so I'm pretty excited for my current and future titles!

I'm a very humble guy who deals very well with feedback, and I provide good feedback too.

The trailer for my game is on my youtube channel where I share gameplays of everything I play for the first time, so if you ever want me to cover your game, just let me know! It's a small channel, 250 subs, but growing. Cheers guys!

I'm PS. I make weird code for my unique games that I imagine while sleeping. I have created 3 games from visions using my weird code, and I'm still going on. I have created a new repo on my GitHub for my new vision, which I believe will be a very long coding journey, maybe for years, if I stay on that vision for that one game called "Maya" on my GitHub. I will most probably publish that game as my major game on itch.io. OK, that was mine.

hello!

hello!

Hey people! Nice to be part of this gaming community.

My name is Julio and I am from Chile.

I am a independent music producer that create a new sub-genre using the old DBEAT (from the legendary UK Punk band DISCHARGE). Its called NEODBEAT.

I have crafted myself 120 songs variants in 7 days, using AI tools and polishing one-by-one, listening and doing an one-man-army operation.  The results are a massive collections of 12 albuns ranging from BLACKMETAL to SYNTHPOP, always with the base that I created.

I am marketing my art directly to producers and devs all around the globe, and offcourse, people who appreciate good music.

If you are interested in my work or just want to talk, reach me out in my profile.

See ya around!

Hi everyone,

My name is Jo.  I first got into game dev, because I wanted to reward students who finished their assignments quickly. So I turned a few of my puzzle game ideas into prototypes they could play at the end of a lesson. They were engaging enough to feel like fun and strategic enough to still feel educational. Is was a win-win, really. They got to enjoy themselves, and I got valuable feedback. More so, being young, energetic and imaginative, they helped shape many ideas into what they are now.

And now, after over a year of familiarising myself with Unity, C# and very basic 2D design, I have finally turned one of those prototypes into a well rounded game. ...and have managed to launch it. It still feels surreal. If you'd like to check it out, it is completely free und FULLY playable in the browser, too. treasure CHESSt Feedback is always welcome and I'm happy to answer any questions.

...and now? There are so many ideas and prototypes that I still want to turn into games. I am very happy to have stumbled upon itch.io and am looking forward to learning from - and with - you all!

Cheers!

Hey everyone!  i'm Jack.

My biggest Writing stories is my thing. It started four years ago with Dungeons & Dragons — first as a player, then as a DM. And as a DM, I kept running into the same thought: I didn't want to run existing plots. Published campaigns are great, but there are so many untold stories out there that at some point I just started writing every scenario myself. And honestly — it turned out to be way better than I expected. My last module took three weeks to finish it, mostly spent polishing custom mechanics you won't find in any official book.

Then I finally did the thing I'd wanted to do for a long time: write the story for my own text-based game. It was the hardest and the most interesting challenge I've taken on. The next month went into building the plot and mapping out hundreds of possible branches. By the end of the prologue, I had a twitch in my eye.

I have zero technical skills — I've tried coding, layout, design, all of it, and none of it stuck. What did stick is this: writing a story that actually gets under someone's skin, in whatever genre it needs. That's the one thing I trust myself to do well.
