My game was de-indexed, while it was fine for long time. Please, let developers know why it happens.

I read docs and understand ToS.
Please, itch.io, add 1-2 information lines why game is not visible.
Simple line about game status "all good" or "Not visible: in review", "Against ToS: forbidden content", etc. At least, let us know what that game is not visible or we broke ToS.

Context:
My game was deindexed some time ago. And I'm guessing status of my game for months without feedback from support.
I have 0 idea what I have done wrong. There is no NSFW, no stolen assets, no dialogs to trigger anybody.
I think, game lost visibility after major update devlog. It was 18 days ago.

Little status bar WILL help as understand that we have done something wrong or we just need to wait a little.

I’ll help speed things up for you, but as pointed up in the FAQs, please consider promoting your game. That’s the best way to get organic activity on the page and prioritize it for (re)indexing.

With all due respect, I promote my game outside of the itch. And people told me that they are not able to find my game on itch.

FYI, other website, like youtube, do not allow embedded links to other source for small creator. As result, direct links are not clickable.
And if your game cannot be find using direct search bar, people are not able to find the game.

I completely agree with Snio. It is extremely complicated to promote a game that doesn't appear in the platform's search results.

Clicking on a random direct link posted somewhere is something that many people simply avoid out of fear of malware or scams. Personally, when I see a good game on a forum or social media, I always go to the official platform's search bar to verify if it actually exists and is legitimate. If it doesn't show up in the search, most people will assume it's suspicious and just give up.

Expecting us to build an audience while the platform completely hides our projects makes the promotion process nearly impossible.
