I think this is a really compelling concept with a clear message. The day and time-slot system seems like a great way to make the player's choices feel meaningful without making the scope too large. I'd love to see more of the visual direction as development continues, but the design document provides a strong foundation. Looking forward to seeing how it comes together!

This seems like a well scoped, high impact game. By putting the player in the shoes of people forced to make sometimes easy, but usually tough choices, it highlights how some people are just forced to lose something to chance, and how those choices and opportunities aren't afforded to everyone. By being a text based game with (seemingly) binary choices, and 9 choices for each of the 3 characters, it keeps the scope somewhat reasonable, despite being a solo project. Also, the GDD is very dense and well formatted, the best I've seen so far. It's good that there's no lose condition - you can strive for better, but you can never do so poorly that you die, which I think is good for keeping the tone from getting too heavy (plus, most people wouldn't actually be killed by a heatwave unless they made terrible choices or got incredibly unlucky)
It's a little disappointing that there's no indication for the visual or writing quality, or direction aside from the key scene, which demonstrates more of an impactful moment rather than general vibe (which is what it's supposed to do, I know), but it's otherwise a good document which demonstrates a good plan for a game.

A lot of what you have written in your doc is very solid, but I wish to see more of the art direction with videos of the game.  The working progress of what you have so far would be fine, considering what's required for sprint 2. And I want to know who the target audience of the game? What demographic is this game supposed to speak to?

Thank you for the feedback, my aim is creating a realization game it can be used as an educational material or an awareness project by NGOs. That's why I have a broad audience from kids to adults. In my vision, it will become a light of heatwave realization. For art part I will focus on this and working hard about it as a solo dev!

I also really like 3 day gameplay system with 3 time slots for each day! Reminds me of the game Fear and Hunger Termina with the same system
