A very lovely experience. The manuscript layout is really gorgeous and caught my eye immediately. The small sprites are really cute. It's such a unique way to tell a story. I love Queen's big ass sprite especially. Such a magnificent way to get across her scale while also keeping her contained within the portrait window.
My favorite parts of this VN were the parts pertaining to the interactions between men and women. I really struggle to articulate how I view men as a lesbian, in that in conversation I speak of them with a hatred, despite not truly hating them. It felt very well captured by this line:
"I wonder if we could have been friends... Maybe if he didn't so badly want to marry me."
It was nice. Pleasant. Cathartic even to see Louisa navigate the depths of those feelings. It was really cute as well. It made my heart flutter a bit.
