The style and atmosphere in this game are great! Haven't seen many horror games in this jam so this one stands out in that regard.

I really like the two different attack types that you can use based on the environment, it's a cool mechanic.

The sword reach felt  much shorter than I would expect it to be and and the hit collision is a bit awkward at times, especially with the first attack when you have a goblin backed up against the wall, because in most cases I ended up hitting the wall instead of the goblin. Also their health seemed a bit inconsistent, since they still took many hits even after striking them with almost full bar.

Despite that, I had great time playing!

Thanks for the valuable feedback, I'm glad you liked it! :D
Regarding the bar, I designed it to not be linear. When the bar is half full, it does not mean you do half the damage, you actually deal quite a bit less. This design choice is because I wanted the player to really commit to the attack, instead of just mindless spamming.
Also, since the stab attack is much safer than the overhead slash, I made it do less damage. For example if your bar is full, the overhead slash one shots the goblin, on the other hand, for  the stab to oneshot a goblin you would need to hit him 2 times.
I realize, that the lack of tutorial makes these mechanics somewhat obscure. If I continue development, I will make sure to properly introduce all the mechanics to the player.
