There was a lot that I enjoyed about this game! Front & center to me were the visuals and the warm storytelling, plus the entire concept with Kokoro herself. She has a very relatable reason to go on her adventure, and learning about the different expressions (and how to balance them) was extremely interesting me.
As for the visuals, the layout is a lot of fun! It's extremely cute how Kokoro is placed up close in her panel - along with how the game communicates her expressions & intensities. The other panel's silhouettes do a lot for color balancing, as do the sketch-style drawings of Mamizou and Kokoro and the doodley animation on the white-and-black intro & outro scenes. Of course, I absolutely adored how clean & colorful the rest is, too - especially the HUD and Kokoro.
The music's upbeat yet cozy style also does a lot, especially given its variety. That's combined with the fact that I never felt rushed during gameplay, and felt like I could get creative (and expressive, hehe).
Overall, this was a phenomenal experience! Excellently done as always, you two - and congratulations on the well-earned top rankings!

Neat concept, and a fun way to use Kokoro for the mechanics. Misread the rule for using up emotions, but there were still enough options for me to progress!
I'm very particular about how Kokoro is portrayed, so I was relieved by how the game ends. The presentation impressed me from a scoping standpoint: the use of monocrome and silhouettes meant you could get a lot of characters in the limited window, and the game still looked super nice.
I have an AYN Thor (Dual Screen Android Device), and would love to play a version of this game on that. I think it'd be a perfect fit with the dual screen setup.
Really enjoyed this social cue simulator. :)
What's funny is that the way this game's presented makes it look like it could work on a N*ntendo DS.
Very well presented and cute game. I love the little tidbits about other couples in all the dialogue. The game itself was neat and a little challenging, mostly because a lot of the emotions that I feel like would fit didn't work with the given emotion, but maybe I just don't understand the rules that well. Despite that, I managed to clear every stage the first try, so it's probably fine.
Very slick presentation and a lovely concept.

Love the concept of Kokoro learning to express emotions for her beloved & the entire style of the game is very pleasant. Gameplay is simple and rewarding, though it doesn’t offer too much variety because of that. I found the audio department a bit lacking, with only 2 (if I heard correctly) songs throughout the game and a lack of sounds for things like buttons.
overall yip yip kokokoi 4/5
