🤘🤘🤘 YES
That's the kind of games I love in a jam >:D
More seriously this looks and sounds so great 5/5 no doubt on these two.
Really liked the idea, I'll be honest tho I really couldn't understand how the musicians worked like, sometimes they would ask me to volume up and down the same person 10 times in a row then next run one request from each and I won xD. Which is pretty unfortunate if it's not the intended behavior, loved the voice too but easily kind of repetitive voice lines when the first scenario I mentioned happens.

Loved the free play addition in the end too, really had fun with this one! Banger.

Yeah that’s fair. I realised later that feedback on when youre doing things right is important. I had the hearts already but added the voice line for that instant confirmation. So for under the hood explanation each musician has a desired volume they’d like (0 -1) but theres are fair amount of flexibility - like within 0.2 in either direction so effectively a 0.4 range. So theres effectively 3-4 areas you can have the volumes in.

I wanna check out your game when I get home too cos I initially wanted to add a cable patching element, but realised I should really narrow my scope.

Okay I see! Thanks for the info, yeah I too should have put more feedbacks in my game but about the loosing conditions haha. We often prioritize features, and sometimes it's worth, but each features often asks more feedbacks and we realize this too late x). Thanks for checking out my game!

Very cool! I’ll admit that I was expecting more levels/challenges, but I don’t think that detracts from the gameplay you’ve got. The music and aethetic are both absolute FIRE too. Excellent work!

I think this one is one of my personal favorites, I guess especially of the instructors voice. That voice is so seething I could listen to that all day. Also really enjoy the art style. Is that a kangaroo as singer? Love his design, he is such a dapper.

That's great! Love it! Oh man this game has style. Its such a great concept but my first play through kind of glitched out where the tutorial ended and I instantly won the game. The default settings was the answer to the puzzle. Playing though it again and properly, still solved it pretty quickly, within 30 seconds. I wish the game had more content. The bonus end free mixing should have been the core of the game.

Still, enjoyed the ride, quality voice acting and style. Would def play a longer version

Developer

Interesting! I did notice while building sometimes the game would load solved. But I thought I had a good solution.

Basically all levels start at 0.7 (faders go from 0.0 to 1.0) and you only need to be within 0.2 of the actual desired value. So to combat too many things being pre solved, I set a lot of the musicians to desire a value between 0.0 and 0.58…..wait…that should have been 0.48 so that its just under 0.7. Ok so its much less likely at least but not impossible. I’ll prob update that later.

Fair that the free mixing shouldve been the core game. I was just being good at not pushing my scope and pushing what was there. For example it isnt too hard to add extra songs, but I wanted to polish what I had.  Glad you enjoyed and cheers for the feedback.

Very good. Love the art style, and the concept is very well put together.  That's an extremely good tutorial also!

Really cool idea! I love the music, bonus for the voice over and singing!

That's crazy cool! First time I see anything like this! This really explains what scene audio technicians do and why it's important. And the game is really fun and intuitive, looks really good and stylish, sounds amazing. Genuinely, I think it should win the jam. It's amazing. And interpretation of the theme is fantastic and spot on.

Developer

Aw thanks! My all time fave is still Signal Seige but I'm glad you had a rad time!

AAAAAAHHHH I Loved this so much! It took me a few tries to understand but once I got the hang of things it was a lot of fun! I wish the actual game was a bit longer to get the band happy but what is there is awesome! I loved the song as well at the end, adding that to my playlist for sure! And the voiceover was excellent, reminded me of the announcer in Hi-Fi-Rush if you are familiar, just so good!

i love the band balling on the performance on the go XD
this is a really great solo run!

I might just be a little dumb, but even with the tutorial I'm not entirely sure how the dials correlate between each character. I'll give it another go later but I love the characters and do respect the effort placed into it all.

Developer

Fair! I realised this one needed a proper tutorial cod although this is my real life job I knew I‘d have to make a decent tutorial. I‘d be chuffed if you give it another go and have better luck next time but also totally  understand if you give it a pass.

The game looks amazing, but I couldn't get the audio to stop stuttering T-T

Developer

Interesting. I did test on a couple of diff PCs and diff browsers. I found the button SFX might stutter a tiny bit in between loading a scene but nothing else. Thanks for giving it a go anyhow!

Tried it on a better computer and it worked great! Nice work on it!

Awesome good to know. I’ve been trying to make my web builds more stable cos yeah they’re so convenient and accessible.

This game is too cute!! I love the band and especially the look of the (presumably and hopefully) kangaroo lead singer! The artstyle is amazing, and the music is really good. The actual gameplay is pretty fun and hectic, but eventually it lets you play freestyle and you get to just mess around. All around an AMAZING GAM JAM GAME!

Developer

Roo yeah! Thanks so much - glad you had a good time!
