The art is so cool!
The 1-bit art style was really nice. The map is quite big and challenging and it got loads of cool and hard mechanics!
Good art style for sure! Wish the jumping was a little more forgiving though!
Love the aesthetic. Well thought out little metroidvania with great visuals, great sound and good progression. Only complaint is that I was unable to shoot as I was moving which sometimes felt frustrating
Very simple game, with great visuals. I got lost and stuck on a few parts but what's a Metroidvania without getting lost and stuck on a few parts? Really liked it!
I liked the little lore of the game and the visuals are well made, it suits the theme of the jam. The bomb jump mechanic was my favorite feature. It was hard to master but after some tries I could progress more fluently. Maybe I would have make the bombs infinite or carry more of them so I didn't have to go back to gather more bombs when I failed the jump challenges. Happened to me more times than I would liked. I got stuck at the top of the level, I couldn't figure out how to pass the X walls. But overall I liked the game.
Thank you for your feedback! Well in this room you must go up right there is a room there to continue (you can see on the map that there is a connection, hit pause button and go to the map to see the full game's map), and on that section you will obtain the MISSLE ammo (X blocks destroy ability) after crossing the some platforms challenges of course), and get back to this room to destroy those block!
and for the limit bomb condition: it is because if you have infinite bombs you can actually fly by facing the gun down and shot and trigger at the same time.
I really love the visuals in this game! I got soft locked a few times, but being able reload from save helped. Good work on this one!
Very cool visuals, especially the CRT effect looks really nice. I did however feel like the enemies were a bit spungy, and I got stuck in a room with no way out without having gotten any upgrades. Also, I was a bit confused when some things were lying on the floor that looked like the gun upgrade, but actually weren't interactable.
Fairly well made, though I wish I could've played more of it, as I unfortunately got stuck with no clear way to make any more progress that I could figure out. The style and look of it works so well despite being simple, too.
Cool colours and exploring. Very cute character, had fun exploring (and falling)
Amazing art and fun gameplay, really loved this game.
Good graphics and gameplay, I had fun while exploring this 1-bit world :)
The CRT shader is amazing, and the dither dissolve effect is also awesome. The one bit graphics certainly carry a retro vibe, while still being clear as to what's happening. Nice game!
Played around a bit more, and made it back to the start. I think I missed a route somewhere. Just now seeing that you can pull up a map through the pause menu—I appreciate the in-game tutorials, but admittedly when I see a game has in-game tutorials I won't read the description as closely.
Aesthetic is on point, and felt good hopping around and exploring for the most part.
The graphics and sound are so cool! I really liked the high jump with the enemies explosion mechanic. Would love to see more of this.
Graphics really stand out and they are so simple but really effective the sound was also really good and the level transitions, wow super cool I would love to know how you did that because it really really cool
Thank you! well the transition is just a shader that progress pixels with noise texture on a ColorRect2D, I just set it color to be the exact same as the background so it can look good! simple tech with less code!
Thats really cool
Very cool, I like how the graphics are almost vector style graphics. if this was made into a full downloadable game such as on steam, I'd probably buy it! Was fun to play (although I'm not very good at it!)
