Awesome what you’ve put together in such a short amount of time. Not gonna lie, I found it all a bit confusing. But I still cherish it because of the fantastic art style.

I like the artstyle and the interactivity with the objects, I wouldnt have minded if the game was just entirely in 2D. I got four objects but couldnt find the clue to access the computer.

Developer(+1)

thanks so much for playing our game! we were discussing the 2D/3D aspect and ultimately wanted to go with both out of curiosity. the artists goal was to experiment with 3D as well because it was their first time making a bigger project in the engine.

the clue might be hidden in a video game :)

Super charming point and click game, and I love the artstyle! Awesome job.

Awesome game! Loved the theme and art style, simple and clever. Congrats!
I want to make fun games like yours!

Developer

thanks for your kind words!

Very nice! I managed to finish it. The artwork is very cool and the sound effects were funny. The puzzles were also just right. Great job!

Developer

Yay! Thanks a lot!

Very cool game. Loved the art style and all the interactable objects. It's a great cozy game. I noticed the audio is reversed and got curious on what's actually saying. I revered a recording but didn't get what it's saying. Computersistich?

Developer

Thanks a lot. Very close — it's "Computersüchtig". German for "addicted to computer" haha. The inspo was my loved second hand shirt showing a cigarette smoking PC with this caption.

Developer(+1)

props for the commitment though, haha!

This one is amazing. The style is beautiful, the little puzzles are very fun and the little easter eggs around the scenario give so much life to it. Incredible game, great job!

Developer

Thank you! It was a joy to create!

I love a good point and click, but always struggle with music puzzles (the cat keyboard) since I'm not a musician. I don't know off hand where each letter is in the sheet music and had to pull up a reference and slowly hit one key at a time until i finally got it lol.

Developer(+1)

if you turn around the sheet in the 3D view there is a simplifed (and actually different) melody

I loooved this one!! Always a fan of point and click, but the incredibly unique and charming art and animation really elevated this one in particular :) Love all the little details hidden throughout the room and bonus interactibles. Also really cool to see how you incorporated little 3d elements into a primarily 2d style/environment! The audio really adds a lot to the ambience too. And the puzzles were a good level of difficulty too!

Super minor feedback - it took me a while to realize that the cursor was aligned to the nail and not the finger, which confused me for a bit on more precise clicking like for the game cartridge. But wasn't a big deal at all. Really well done guys!!

Developer

thanks so much for pointing out the confusion with the nail, and for your generous feedback of course! :)

Love to see a point and click adventure on here and the art style is fantastic! Nice job!

Developer

Thank you!

It's good for my demon to take a hike. Great art style in this game.

Developer

I think it would be good for everyone's demon to take a hike from time to time. Thank you!

Maybe a weird comment but this is the best itch page I have ever seen, the game just blending into the page is so slick. I really like that you recognized your strength in visuals and made a game to push that as far as possible, this game is genuinely very impressive. Only issue I noticed was the cursor not being shown if your mouse was too low on the screen

Also the theme interpretation is great, I think you really captured a retro bedroom environment

Developer

Thank you so much for playing the game and leaving this motivating comment!!

Developer

thank you for your kinds words! I've noticed the mouse issue as well but was not really able to track the bug down. in the editor it seems to work fine so it might be a browser issue

You are my favorite for this jam ;} Great game, fantastic style, I needed it. All 5s!

Does the piano do anything? I don't know the notes, and couldn't figure out how to play the HB song. But I still manage to finish the game. And I don't remember finding the scaly friend either :o

Was I lucky?

Developer(+1)

Ahh thanks so much!

Yess if you take a good look at the sheet there will be a hidden song that is playable for everyone!
I think you were lucky tho :)) Glad you enjoyed!

Submitted(+1)

I liked the art style, reminded me of Hidden Folks with the style and interactivity. Unfortunately because I have long forgotten how to read music I was stumped.

Developer

Thank you!

Spoiler:

You don't have to be able to read music, there's a way to reveal the notes written out on the piano!

We need more games like this! Pure SOVL

Wow, real nice! Especially the art is seriously amazing, it combines so well with the low poly pieces. The teenage years nostalgia is real!

Developer

You put a smile on my face, thanks for playing
