I enjoyed this game! been playing a lot of Slay the Spire 2 recently so definitely appreciate how this game took inspiration from that. Also the dice rolling resource mechanic was very creative!

I really enjoyed the art and style overall. Man, that couch looks comfy. All the different old school toys was great. I'm impressed with all the systems and the cat is a nice touch. Well done!

I'd have to spend more time with it to really understand the combat better, but it was still enjoyable!

I don't think I understood the dice! kind of a crazy amount of stuff to implement in a week tho so nice job regardless. great work on style/graphics, too.

Hey! I loved the game's concept. The map is really nicely done. The room is just great! I loved how the cat moved around the room. I managed to reach the boss without taking damage, but I still lost to him, haha. It was really cozy. Great game

It's a very original and fun game! I am glad I didn't miss it

Idea is great. Slay the Spire with dice. The reroll button didn't work for me, and I found the interactions between the dice and the cards confusing. I saw you posted explanations for what each symbol means in the description, but why not just have those symbols on the cards in the first place?

Developer

Thank you.

Did you select which dice to reroll, or is it broken even while doing that first?

The symbols issues was an unfortunate oversight when we had to roll-back a few things for release, definitely not intended!

Ah, I had no idea I could interact with the dice at all, didn't even try, now it would make sense :)

I found the mechanics pretty confusing, but I still enjoyed it due to the vibe of the game. nice work!

Yeah could definitely have used some better exposition. Glad you enjoyed it to some extend regardless!

Fun roguelike! would be cool to see some more combos and development of the mechanics! good stuff!

Developer

Cheers!

Really cool stuff, I really liked all of the artwork and the general vibe of the game. One bit of feedback is that the balance feels a bit easy, which may have been intentional. I also think having some instructions on how to interact and play the game on the itch page would be good!

Developer(+1)

Thanks! Good call on the instructions!

The balance was mostly just an issue of running out of time.
