a little bit confusing at the start but great game
This was pretty good, but using escape for the web version, especially when it captures the mouse, is not good.
I couldn't exit the camera, because the web version would take me out of fullscreen, or mouse control and not out of the camera. I reloaded the browser, didn't take up the camera, then I got a super loud jump scare.
I liked the presentation and the game, but there are some keyboard functions to keep in mind for the future.
Hey roburab, thanks for your kind feedback! I was made aware by the bug already and I 100% agree with you. It’s unfortunate but I learnt something for next time. The native version does not have the problem, in case you want to experience the full game.
Have a nice day :)
loved the game. i think it was a confusing at the start but after that it was ok.
I also got stuck on the camera bit, which is a shame because I was really keen to see where the game went next! Would've loved a timer on the cards as they're about to swap, but really enjoyed the card game overall, it was really satisfying to win it. The atmosphere really added tension too. Great work!
I had fun with the card game and enjoyed the soundscape and style a lot. Nice work!
Once I picked up the camera, I couldn't figure out how to put it down!
Super fun! Love the ambience and concept, very Inscryption-esque. The camera was buggy for me and I'm on Mac so I couldn't try the downloaded version, but really like the concept. Very spooky to have to think about the jumpscare while locking in on the card game, haha. Great job!
Fun game, especially the card game is well done and once I started playing I forgot my surroundings and it scared the crap out of me
10/10 would play again
I loved that game when I was young! =)
Enjoyed it very much. Love the art style.
Maybe optimize the card play a bit? What about swiping (click&drag) them?
ps. The jump scare got me for real!
Amazing game! Loved the art and the card game was fun too
AMAZING job! I love speed and the setting, visual effects, and everything else were perfect. I fended off a few entities but one finally got me that I didn't see coming. Maybe it's part of the point (that you always have to grab the camera and look around) but it would be nice if you always either see an entity walking in the background (this I saw happen) or hear one walking somewhere. That way, you can focus on the card game until you see or hear something and then you have to try and find where it is, instead of just remembering to occasionally check around. Maybe that's exactly how it works already and I just missed a cue. Or maybe the point is that you're not always supposed to know when entities are there. Either way, great work!!
Edit: Oh, it would also be nice to be able to grab new cards with Tab!
The atmosphere was pretty cool! the card game quick to catch and the camera thing very intriguing! very cool game! congratulations on the entry!
great horror game concept, hoping to see more features on this game, I like the part where you need to scare enemies with camera, that's little stressing and scary!
Hi! I haven't played card games since 2012. It was fun until round 2. I tried to beat it in the browser version, but no luck. Pressing Esc just closed my small window and didn't make the character drop the camera. In the desktop version, after I died, the game just got stuck on a black screen.
The gameplay was fun. Maybe I'm the kind of person who can enjoy this game even without the spooky atmospherе
I like it! Great job!
What an ambiance! And very polished animations too.
I was a bit surprised when the cards on the table would suddenly change as well, I guess it's a random reroll to make sure the game never gets stuck ? Maybe this could be triggered by the player rather than being automatic
I really like the atmosphere of this one!
retro as in traditional playing cards is a great take on the theme! I would have loved drag-and-drop or even double click style automatic sorting. I was also a little confused when the cards on the table would shift by multiple values.
Yes, it’s scary! I like it!
I quite like the view of this game. tho I am not quite sure of how to play the card game yeah
