This is such a creative take on the theme, combining pong and platforming. Really hard but genuinely worth taking to a full release, I think. Fun, well-taught mechanics. Charming graphical style, too. I would have loved some music or ambiance, but the sound effects were great.

Godot Version
4.6
Theme Interpretation
It's a platformer with Pong as a basis for its mechanics. Plus pixel art + other retro-ish aesthetic choices.

Seriously good lighting effects! My favourite is the pulsing rings around the chips.
I’m not sure if I think the hover would be better off being a separate input to the jump or if I just need to git good but I definitely struggled.
From what I can see there are a tonne of puzzles which is really impressive for a jam game.
Very interested to see how what makes the text fade-out look so cool!
Great work, feels kind of like if VVVVVV had a baby with Animal Well.
Ty for the feedback! For the fade out, it's a normal tween between 1.0 and 0.0 on the modulate alpha, but I apply color quantization to everything. So my color palette has 6 shades of orange ranging from nearly black to very bright orange, and so the values snap to those six values as it fades out. I was pleased with how it turned out.

Interesting Pong Jumping Mechanic a bit difficult at times but good to have the instant respawn, felt abit like an old browser game.
Very hard but very rewarding. I think the weaker puzzles were the ones with heavy "traditional" platforming, like the spike room and many of the laser rooms. They aren't bad, just something that could be in any game. That said, many of the puzzles are very clever and well designed, I had many "aha!" moments with this one. I didn't finish it, but I did play it for 40 minutes straight, so that should say something!
Wow I love the controls, its hardcore but fun to figure out!
THIS GAME WAS REALLY FUN! It had that really deep ANIMAL WELL vibes. There were lots of interesting secrets like hidden cubes and the player's face all around the map and the mechanics really hit that "easy to pick-up, hard to master" feel which was really cool to see. The puzzles were really nice as well [and very hard! Especially the green blocks one where you try to travel vertically]. Since the game's full of puzzles I wonder if the game page's description is a cipher but I haven't managed to figure it out! The graphics, the sound design how you respawn instantly it's a great game!

Whoa, I had no expectation anyone would make it to the final ending, great job!
There's a lot of ANIMAL WELL influence in the game, especially with some of the fun lighting stuff I put in there. No cipher with the description, just a play on the inscrutability of old games like ZZT, lol.
Thanks again for playing, glad you liked it!
Very cool, like others before me, it is a tad too difficult for me. But I head fun beating the ones I could.
The sound room puzzle (with the parrot?) I had no clue what to do, maybe it makes sense with better hearing or just a general sense of sound, but for me I couldn't do it (besides trial and error).
This is a clever and cool combination. I really dig the concept and the style.
But boy is it difficult. Unfortunately not in a way that I want to complete it.
Very well made. Unfortunately, I got stuck, it was a pinch too difficult to me, but what I did get to play through was very enjoyable. It was also mysterious in a really fun way.
I am raging! hah
I have managed to get more than half, but I don't know if I have the wherewithal to collect the more challenging ones.
Excellent sound design, visual style and overall vibe.
Very creative puzzle design. You are a master of the unique platformers!
