Interesting spin on a classic, the puzzles looked harder than they seemed but the most challenging was level 19, the others were pretty straightforward but still enjoyable. Good execution with an original concept.

You nailed the theme and the retro feel! Have you made puzzle games before? There's a surprising amount of puzzles and they come together so nicely. I'm not really a puzzle game fan, but I found this one to be manageable for me and I honestly enjoyed it!

Developer

I've spent some making custom Baba is You levels, and tinkering with custom levels for Portal 2, but this is my first time making puzzles for a more bare bones game.

I'm glad you enjoyed it and it wasn't too hard! Thank you for playing!

Right on, that's awesome. Well, you (and the other puzzle game makers I saw) did a great job of slowly building complexity across the levels. That classic design principle of "show us a mechanic, make us use the mechanic" was done to great effect!

very fun game, loved the art and music! Good job

What an amazing game, loved the art, music, all the little effects and was really surprised by the number of levels and how challenging each of them were. I spent way too much time trying to find a secret escape hatch for the spilt cargo level haha!

Developer

I was originally gonna hide a guy lurking around out there to fill out a wildcard but didn't have the time to make the art for him. I definitely should have put some kind of easter egg out there.

This was so fun. Simple concept and A+ execution! One of my favorites in this jam for sure.

Good brain teaser sokoban. No idea diagonals can unlock so many possibilities. May I ask for a level editor ?

Developer

I intend to work on this more after the jam, and a level editor and a way to share levels is definitely on the list!

That is a fun little game! I completed all 21 levels and rlly enjoyed it. the mechanic is good and the art suits the theme

Moving diagonally is nice because even though it forward or backward, it is still up! Unless it is down... moving backwards down... sometimes that happens in our lives. But there is always forwards up!

Very fun, sokoban puzzle game. I liked the diagonal movement because it allowed for more puzzle strategy. I played a similar game the last GWJ and this one was quite different. The graphics and music were top tier!

Developer

Thank you so much for the feedback. I'm glad you enjoyed it

I can't believe you made so many level and they were so good! Diagonal movement is a real fun twist

Developer(+1)

Making levels when the player has that much freedom was tough!!

Submitted(+1)

I'm not exactly a Sokoban fan, but the diagonal movement suddenly made it far, far more enjoyable! It definitely opens a lot more options and I can only imagine how hard it is to design levels because of that! A great twist on a classic!

Very nice Sokoban game and nice graphics! I love the extra touches like the Undo. I would just suggest to add alternative keys for diagonals, like QEZC that are usually used in roguelikes, since double keys are finicky to press.

Delightful game, not too difficult and the diagonal movement made the solutions more interesting. Fits the theme very well and I'm seriously impressed by its polish, especially as a solo entry! Fantastic stuff :)
