Really loved the art and retro sound effects, especially the flower and all the little background details. Dashing around and collecting power-ups felt great, and the shot-timing mechanic fit the theme really well. The red flash was a bit intense, and standing still seemed a little too effective, but this was still one of my favorites so far.

What a lovely artistical style! The spinning gears in the background, the characters with their glowy shadows and the centerpiece flower with its animations - I love it all. I only wished the visual shooting feedback - that is the red flashing screen effect - was toned down a bit. "Countdown" is incorported perfectly here, and I like that you stuck with the time theme for the flower's progression too. Gameplay wise, it's very satisfying to kill enemies and dash around and pick up power-ups - especially with those lovely retro sound effects. Well done!

Thanks a lot for playing and feedback!
Honestly sounds are mocks which did not finally replaced with real ones because of my bad time management haha

Really fun and nice looking game. Its small resolution is a bit annoying, the game doesnt seem to scale up too well, and the game is too easy, even on hard mode. The best strategy is also kind of the boring one, its more fun to go dashing around collecting powerups, but what worked best for me is standing still in the middle and shooting. Still probably my favorite game ive played on this jam so far :3

Thanks man!

Im quite surprised about hard level because it was initial game setup when I was developing it and on laptop it was almost unplayable after 30 sec, so I had to downscale some constants and easier lvls were born; but you highlighted a strong design issue about just staying and shooting, If i will decide to work on the game further I should really brainstorm about it

Really fun and love the mechanical clock theme with the flower! While it was satisfying shooting and dashing though enemies. I liked the start where you had to be precise and the decision making of moving away to collect drops or stay in middle to defend better, but I found it didn't take long for my seconds to get to the point i didn't have to worry about losing, i also didn't do a good job at reading and had no clue what each drop or some enemies did, but it didn't effect my experience. Great all around!

TY a lot for playing and such feedback! Dashing mechanic is my favorite, I even thought make shooting as time-limited gift. Yea collecting a big 'airbag' of seconds IMHO kills some emotions, had no time to think about how to balance it better sadly

Super polished and fun! Love the art style and vibe. Well done :)

Thank you! Looks like we both love 'shooting with countdown' haha

great minds thing alike ;)

Very creative game! Liked it. It was polished and gameplay was smooth, you have to plan your shots because you were shortening time and i liked it, you really had to be precise. :D

Developer

Thanks for your time and feedback! Yep especially  on hard diff level to be precise is critical!

I like it :) It was very fun once I understood the mechanics. I especially liked the art!

Thanks a lot for playing and feedback!

Great vibe and solid concept! The gift mechanics could use some in-game explanation, but the core loop is fun. Good luck!

Developer

Thank you! Yea, buffs are really want to be more explained or at least more 'visual-effected'...

Fun game, finished it on easy. At the beginning i though i was moving by using the momentum of the bullets. I didn t manage to understand what the gifts do and also the quick notes that appear on the screen are to quick, i didn t have time to read them and understand what is going on.

Developer

Thanks for feedback! I really have a huge issues especially with tutorial-making haha, will work on it.
(I will add some descriptions in game about gifts)

Cleared the game on hard mode! (220 motes down)

I didn't get what gifts does other than chorno,(brief explanation might be help) but I really enjoyed all aesthetics here.

Nice work!

Developer

Thanks man!
Really did not even expect somebody will check other game difficulties. And yes, I need to work on my ingame mechanics explanation issues

Intuitive and fun — I got hooked right away. Sadly it crashed mid-run (browser version), but I enjoyed it up to that point. Good luck!

Developer

Thanks man! Could you tell please, on which level/moment did it crash and on which browser (chromium/mozilla)?

Submitted(+1)

It was on level 2, right when I pressed the right mouse button (dash). Browser was Chrome. Hope that helps!
