ggs! fun little game. (also, I don't think onece is a word. were you trying to say once? aside from that, no complaints)

Developer

Sorry about the typo, I fixed and updated the game.

One of the most creative jam games I've played! The autotype feature is a smart way to keep the momentum going.

Incredible game, I loved it, I'm glad that you let us read the complete story at the end cause it was hard to follow while playing. I got 388 which feels kinda mid, I struggled a bit as another non native English speaker. Really good job, I really liked this one, very unique concept!

Very cool! If you have time you should rate our game as well!

Developer

Thanks for playing and review. Yeah, I will checkout your game.

fun game. simple concept but very nicely executed with clean visual, e.g. the color indication, the feedback on typing wrongly

really enjoyable

One of the more creative games I've seen in this game jam, and a very meta one so to speak!

Some of the words could be discerned via sentence structure and context clues, but others had to make me pause and wait for the auto-typer to fill out a letter because there was no obvious "lead" to go by (like "bees"). It's surprisingly very easy to spam letters when you're not sure what the word is, and this hastiness can let the timer running out before the auto-typer can provide a hint. A tendency to type fast also means that mistakes can quickly pile up even when you know the correct word, especially since the goal is to only fill up the missing letters, not spell out the entire word (a mistake that I kept defaulting back to).

This game definitely has a lot of potential to be expanded further, such as by randomizing which letters are missing so that players can't just memorize all the missing letters from previous playthroughs. Letting the program make its own sentences (or even accept custom words) could make a very fun typing game that others could try out (maybe even creating a code so that custom "sentence challenges" can be shared to other players).

Developer

Thanks for playing and review, it means a lot. The custom words sounds very fun, we are definitely gonna try that.

Fun and creative :) The overall presentation really shines, the smooth animations and the visual style make it feel very polished! Nice work.

This was a really creative game! It was fun trying to predict what the next word would be, and it had a nice story all throughout to tie everything together! Great work!

This is super fun! Love the sounds and vibe overall!

Pretty interesting take on the theme. It was clever how the difficulty comes from more obscure words used in the sentence (though one of them has a typo, I think it's supposed to be once?) I also really liked the minimalistic and smooth art style.

Thanks for playing and review.

pretty fun game! The only thing I would change is that you should let people type with a physical keyboard, it was a little annoying to have to use the one on screen.

Fun game! I think there was a typo on one word so I couldn't guess it. But really nicely polished and was pretty calming to play. Great one

Developer

Thanks for playing. I will check that typo at once.
