Masterpiece of puzzle designs (0 w 0)b
I really liked this one! The bomb countdown idea made the puzzles feel way more tense than I expected, but the hand-drawn style kept it fun and light. The little character is cute too, and the board was easy to understand without a ton of text. I like when puzzle games let you mess up once and then instantly understand what you should’ve done.
The theme fits super naturally here, which is nice because it doesn’t feel forced at all. It feels like a simple idea that was executed really clearly. The name is also fun and matches the energy pretty well lol. Simple idea but honestly really well done!
Turning bomb timers into a Sokoban puzzle mechanic is a clever twist, and counting the level numbers down is a fun extra touch!
Congratulations on the great work! I think we had a very similar idea, but we both took it in completely different directions and found different ways to implement the same concept.
I really liked your approach and the way you executed the idea. Congratulations on the implementation!
Who knows, maybe we both appear in Mark Brown's video when he shows games that had similar interpretations of the game jam theme.
Hope you get the chance to play my game too.
wow. wow. wow. fun puzzle game!
Epic, I actually beat it. Pretty fun and challenging puzzle game!
A great sokoban with a pretty great twist on the typical block-pushing mechanic. I found this genuinely quite challenging at times, and I enjoy that the level numbers count down instead of up!
I like a good puzzle game and this one made me think. Nice job. :)
Very good puzzles got me thinking for a while really fun
Some hard puzzles but very smart :)
Very good puzzles, they got me scratching my head a lot ( must have spent at least 45 minutes playing haha). It creates an addictive loop ,as I always thought I was one step closer . General difficulty seems a bit high ,on levels 7 and below though. Managed to get to level 3 and felt a bit defeated 😅
All in all, very good game ! Kudos to the team!
Those were some good puzzles, really got me thinking! I got through all the levels, there's some cool mechanics to play around with. Most of the later levels require a decent amount of back-and-forth pushing of bombs to get them down to the correct number, which made those solutions less intuitive. I think some of the level design could be improved simply by slightly adjusting the bomb numbers and positioning to lead the player into the proper direction. More of a "figuring out the incomplete setup of a solution" instead of "fully setting up the solution". But still very enjoyable!
Nice game, I was at level 6 and stopped it got really hard, but overall it was super fun!
My team were wondering about a bomb puzzle game ourselves, nice to see it implemented so well by you all. Well done!
Man I honestly enjoyed the difficulty of the puzzles!
How do people make such hard puzzle in 4 days? I don't get it.
very challlenging puzzles
These puzzles get incredibly hard incredibly fast! We nearly made a similar game to this but bailed because we didn't trust ourselves to generate enough interesting puzzles within the span of the jam. lol.
My only criticism is you can get through the earlier levels with an incomplete understanding of the bomb mechanics and then be pretty lost later on. Such a good entry though, well done.
omg the last few levels were evil. Once I decide to actually think deeply about them I was still stuck but then really impressed by the solutions once I solved them after a few hours.
I think initially I was confused about exactly how the bomb exploding/pushing mechanics worked, because the earlier levels were easy enough to solve without understanding them thoroughly.
It wasn't until the harder levels that i was forced to figure them out and then it was really neat! Perhaps there needs to be some tutorials to make the difficulty spike feel less harsh.
Anyway fantastic puzzle
Enjoyed the game, but that difficulty spike is insane and nearly made me quit before figuring out the level labelled 10. I got to the second to last level and just couldn't figure out the cascade of chaos I needed to succeed.
