Interesting concept, but what do upgrades actually do? I'm spending time, but it's unclear what for. Anyway, good job!

thanks! the upgrade increases your damage by 1 point and costs 10 seconds of time. each floor enemies gain +1 hp, so without upgrade scaling it becomes very difficult to progress.
we ran out of time at the end and weren't able to implement the proper tutorial or any of the sounds. thanks so much for playing!
