A cute lil concept and game, I like it :D

Great game, possibly best of this jame! Defiantly the best game I've seen so far! The only problem with this game is that sometimes when I try to close a curtain I grab some garlic instead. And it's pretty hard. But I beat it so it's probably not that hard!

Really an amazing and cute game!!!

This is a great game! The concept is fun and I really like the art. Though, I'm a bit worried about the count and why he has so many deadly objects in his house.

that's really an amazing game, but really hard, was able to finish it anyone

Super cute game!

Great puzzles and intuitive controls. Very solid entry especially for your first jam!

A charming puzzle game with lovely pixel art and a fun concept! The levels are clear and easy to understand, though I felt the gameplay could use a little more excitement or a unique twist. Still, a very solid first jam entry!

Excellent game, very creative.

Possible Improvements:

  • Turning off the valves could require moving in a circle around them (like the curtains)
  • Unique death animations for the count would be fun (I intentionally let him die to the mirror because I wanted to see how "no reflection" would kill him)
  • Breaking the mirror with the garlic was hilarious, but it would make more sense to use the candlesticks
  • Ensure that holding directional keys as you restart allows you to immediately move
  • Apparently some versions of vampires have the obsessive urge to count things (hence Count von Count), so throwing a bag of rice on the ground in front of the Count could be a stalling mechanic for later levels

Thank you so much for the feedback! I had the functionality for different death animations ready but didn’t have the time to draw them with work unfortunately. The valves and counting idea are also great those didn’t even cross my mind!

Thanks again for the feedback and for playing, I’m always looking to improve :)

İts very impressive how you manage to do much levels and mechanics in this small time . Movement Visuals and music is very good . Loved it

Cool game! Thought using the garlic to break the glass was really clever. Also really liked the scene transitions.

Nice job! Took me a bit to figure out the mechanics, maybe adding them to the page description would help. Still, I enjoyed it a lot. Congrats!

Nice, I liked the menu, remeber web games

I really liked this one, I think it was executed really well and was pretty fun. Some of those stages were down to the wire but never got too frustrating! That one level with the 4 waterfalls felt kind of cheap because it was a guessing game, like it's nearly impossible to get on the first try. But overall pretty good game, really cute art, and creative concept!

My team also thought about doing a variant of sending a count downward in space — this one is fun, especially thinking about how vampires are so slick in traditional lore. Love the idea of one being so clumsy, they need help from silly humans like us. The pixel art is so cute, and the soundtrack and SFX really added to the experience!

this is so cool, genuinely fun and frantic to play :D I really like the concept!

I liked the game. The art is cool. The gameplay is difficult in some places, but I have mixed feelings about the vampire. I hate him because he behaves stupidly, but I also adore him because I like to joke about him and throw a bow at him. In short, the game is good, and it's cool to mock the vampire. Nice game

I really liked this game! I thought the way you interpreted count down also was really creative! And it was just a really fun game! the way you reused the garlic to break the glass was also genius.

Super cute art. The count is a little slow for my taste and at first I was struggling a little to figure out whats going on. But interesting mechanics, nice use of the theme and really, really cool art!
Cool that you took time to polish the menus a little under these constraints =)
