A jam submission

MinitaurView game page

A short top down shooter game I made over the weekend. I hope it is the spell that breaks my 6 year long rut :)

Moving around is a bit jarring because the background is flat but it's alright. I think the minimalist theme works but it can use a bit more spice.

A very simple yet engaging mechanic! I’d love to see more content—more enemies and more levels. It would also be great to see your total score at the end of each run! Very promising!

I really wanna know why it's called Minitaur!!! Please tell me!!!!!!

I was listening to Buzzfeed Unsolved Supernatural, when I heard something that rhymed with Minitaur. That gave me an inspiration 🫠

Nice little game! I actually replayed it multiple times to try out different strategies, which I didn't expect from such a simple premise :)

Fun little game! I'm a dummy because I thought the movement keys were not registering. But my character was moving and I didn't realize... But after that it was all good.

quite fun, slightly strange thing (possibly just for my computer, idk) is that the camera keeps bugging out, and i keep going off screen. could be a skill issue, but good game! well done!

yeah it could be because i am doing some wonky math when it comes to camera's offset. prob should have taken the screen window into account.🫠

fair enough, well done for the good work though

Pretty cool retro vibe. Getting an asteroid defence feel from it, which is great:)
