Really interesting gameplay, I like how it creates a sort of puzzle
Thank you for playing and for tue comment!
pretty unique use of the theme! I like the puzzles it creates. the roguelike elements are quite fun too. I think you could turn this into a pretty good game!
I would appreciate a play & review of my game if you have the time.
Thank You for playing and for the feedback !
A very strong foundation for a great logic game! I think it has a lot of potential with a few new rules
I'm glad You liked it. More rules were definietly planned, but I didn't have enough time to implement them. I'm working on the game now so I will add them for sure
I was craving a card game that would satisfy the jam's theme and oh boy I got what I wanted, this game has a lot of potential, but I belive coding all that logic to create new rules would be a nightmare. Love the game.
Very happy to hear You like the game!
Yep I have some next rules in mind, for example that every column has to sum up to a given number.
But as You said, coding them is a little bit harsh.
As far as I know there is no way to just code every one rule by itself (which is a little mathematical puzzle on its own) and then combine them. I have to make a case for every combination of rules there is which is not that bad for now, but could quickly get out of hand when I add more. Fortunately some of the cases are cut down by just rotating or flipping the board.
As I'm working on improving the game now, I mainly focused on adding new items to the shop and actually fixing it hah
Really satisfying getting through a round without uncovering any wrong cards. A very strong concept which could be undoubtedly successful if developed further into a full game. Great work!
Thank you for the feedback!
I'm very glad You liked the game.
Actually one of the best games I've played so far! Very fun, shame about the buggy shop though!
Very glad you liked it so much!
Sorry about the shop. But fyi You can still buy stuff. You just have to be quick about it
Shop autoskipped for me. Playing on firefox. Fun game for the rest
Thank you for the feedback!
Cool game :P
Well done!
Just fyi there was a bug where the shop was auto-skipped, appearing for 2-4 frames
Ouch. I knew the shop was bad, but I didn't know it was this bad. I wasn't able to finish the shop in time, but even after I tested it post submission I had at least a few seconds in the shop. Weird.
Thank you for playing
It was intresting to rule out where cards can be, sudoku style, but there were a lot of situations where it was pure chance if a pick was correct.
I also had a bug where the shop only appeared for a moment and did not give me the chance to buy anything.
Yes I'm aware of the bug. It was listed as a disclaimer in the project description.
I guess I just ran out of time to fine tune the balancing and different rules and patterns. The initial concept had in it that you would be able to buy one time abilities that let you peek at a chosen card without revealing it and such. For now I'm sure ut would be much better if you had more random cards revealed at the start.
Well, I appreciate the feedback anyways
