How does your game fit the theme?
There is a countdown in days to the end of your visa, and the dungeon has a countdown to when you wake up.

Quite a solid entry and there is far more to it than I would have expected for a game made in a few days. Took a little bit to understand things, but I honestly liked the lack of hand-holding. Great job!
Not my cup of tea, but I like the narrative setting and the interpretation of the Jam's countdown theme.
Work, work, work, work, work, work
He said me haffi work, work, work, work, work, work
The character portraits are incredibly cute!!! Also being able to face in diagonal directions in a dungeon crawler movement scheme caught me off guard. Neat game!
Wonderful sense of atmosphere and interesting marriage of management sim and dungeon crawling. I'd love to see this concept iterated upon outside of a jam. Great stuff!
Thanks! I have a feeling I will come back to this and expand it...
Heyo! I found this project really interesting for a multitude of reasons. For one, and it's a bit harder to convey this through text, but I enjoy the unique "voice" your game has. There's a sense of style in the visuals and atmosphere that feels entirely unique and genuinely intriguing to me to where I wanted to learn more.
The crunchiness of running into walls and walking around was also very nice w/ the minimal geometry in the environment lending a creepy and foreboding atmosphere. The dialogue as well also piqued my curiosity for the purpose of the monsters and what things were all leading to.
Lastly, while the U.I of the calendar intimidated me a bit when I first saw it, I think I understand the gameplay loop you're after: managing your stats and strategically venturing through the monster hallway/combat segments to get more money in order to buy the plane ticket? That's my best guess anyway. I died numerous times to the monsters after missing several times in a row and wasn't sure how to improve this.
There's certainly some meat here in terms of a full game concept and I see the vision! Great job putting this together in such a short window and putting it out there. It was fun to give it a whirl :]
Thanks so much! Despite the simplicity of it, there is a lot of personal meaning that I have to this game, so I'm glad it shines through.
Way too big for me to be able to see the whole screen. Had to keep using my scroll bars. Also wasn't sure what to do.
Hey thanks for playing!
You should be able to press the Full Screen button and it will scale to your screen, sorry about that
all good, will try that out!
