I think the idea is unique but I don"t enjoy it as much, also, nice job on the visuals and audio!
I dig the art style and it was a neat concept. Very nice cutscene at the start.
I did absolutely terribly at trading stocks though. That's mostly just me being me though. Perhaps a very slow paced tutorial first might help, as it is fairly overwhelming to get thrown into the first level.
Surprised that I didn't lose everything and that by the end I had more than I started with (not by much). Loved the idea, pretty funny concept. I wish you could filter/sort the stocks; specially the ones you have invested in. Nice job ^^

I see the vision.
The good:
Artstyle is pretty good, and the music is very unique. The game is oozing with personality! From the concept being punny, to the gameplay being a good use of the theme, to cool references and a tongue in cheek vibe overall.
There is a similar game for Streetpass on the 3DS where you need to spam sell or spam buy depending on how the market looks. it REALLY works and this game was similar except for a few key factors.
The Bad:
I feel like a system similar to that streetpass game would work better here. its called "Market Crashers" in case you want to look into it.
Having the submenu open for buying or selling stock stagnates gameplay and makes it a bit more stressful than it should be. I feel like im batting the UI more than outsmarting the game at some points.
Needs refinement but its got a good direction :3
Genuinely thank you so much for this feedback. That's really helpful and I'd love to implement that more features to this idea. I haven't heard of that game before, but it is funny that people can come up with similar ideas. I'll definitely check it out. I agree that the UI does need improvement and have it work with the player so they can focus on the game.

This game is stressful, but really fun! I am terrible at it however! haha
Immediately lost most of the 2500 starting capital. Should have diversified I suppose! Will be back to play again! Good submission to the jam!

Today I learned I should never start trading. I loved it. Great game !
Baahhhh this is more stressful than the real stock market, cause the values move so quickly, so if I hit sell when it's high, there's a chance I lose everything! And that horny lady voice won't stop as soon as I buy something!!

today i learnt i should never try investing....... went all in on some random company and lost everything....... i really enjoyed the game tho! the premise, art, voice acting, everything was rlly fun :)
It was a lot to process at the beginning but once I got it I enjoyed it. the art was really good as well I wish I could draw like that ):
Don't give up! Drawing is so hard sometimes but honestly you just gotta keep at it, see where you're struggle and then learn one step at a time. If you can't draw hair? Break it down and learn how to draw hair? Can't color? Learn some values, just have fun while you're doing it! Thank you for playing and commenting! <3
