I was really looking forward to seeing a game on the same level as *4D Accounting*... I loved that game; while I did miss its art style, the result is an enjoyable little game overall, and I managed to make it all the way to the end.

good job)

I like the idea. The game is easy to understand and it's fun collecting more explosives and making bigger explosions. The audio kinda reminded me of old flash games.

Great work :)

Love the way it's getting stressful the more you go but I didn't get the use of explosive there

This is genius, currently my favourite game i’ve played in GMTK, just really really tight, if you released this on iPhone back in the day you’d be calling youtube videos “blastpit dev reacts to X” and never have to make another game. Stunned by its simplicity and style, could tighten the art slightly, but hard to do this kinda artstyle with the constraints.

Was a little confusing at first, didn't realize being near the bomb was killing me. Once I figured that out it was super fun to control. The digging and grappling work well together. Well done!

I had so much fun playing it. It's a very creative idea. I'll definitely play it more often. An infinite mode would have been cool—then you could keep beating your highscore.

I really like this, I'd love to know how you made the whole excavation system, because that's awesome!
I like the whole go for other explosives and attach them to the bomb, the whole high-risk high-reward is cool, though I feel that concept could be expanded further and be a lot of fun!

I did sadly encounter a bug where you got stuck on the wall :[

The excavation system is a giant mess but at a high level it's really simple. There's a big 2d array of densities and then some functions loop over every single triangle, average out the densities to determine which ones are air, and then creates a mesh for it. When you excavate it loops over all the points and sets the nearby ones to zero density before running the entire mesh generation algorithm all over again, instancing new physics objects if there's no longer a triangle where there was one before. It's horrifically inefficient but just barely performant enough to work

i LOVE it, gameplay loop is really fun, artwork is amazing, game has a great sense of style, music is great, the idea despite stemming from a simple countdown bomb is realized great. One of the highlights of the jam for me.

Its quite sensitive in the web build which makes it much harder to bring the bomb down as it gets bigger, and at somepoint all the smaller explosives attached to themselves, instead of the bomb (i assume they always attach to the bomb)

I love the art style and idea itself. I played it with my g/f and we think it is not very intuitive. We had to try a few times before getting to know how it is supposed to be played.

Good job and good luck with the jam.
