Fun game! The hand-drawn artstyle is really great and unique, reminds me of paper mario. I'd love to see some environmental hazards in the dungeon/maybe just some walls to add variety to the layouts. Also maybe some sort of ranged weapon? All the different items were neat. I could definitely see this expanded!

I escape easly, but i guess it can be much awesome game if you put more time.

Beautiful art. Really appreciate the ammount of animation, all the bouncyness of things and the animated avatar. You easily could have gotten away with less.

I'm glad I went for a second and third run, else I missed out on some enemies and items. With the stuff you already had, you propably could have tacked on a couple more rooms.

Really love the 2,5D ethetic. Something I really want to cut my own teeth on eventually, but never managed to be brave enough during a jam,

Cool game, but it could be a bit longer.

I liked the art but the current camera angle and angles that sprites are placed at makes it difficult to attack, dodge, or see the room properly.

Nice wee game. The graphics are charming and have a consistent artstyle. The music used fits the game's atmosphere pretty well. I also like that the items and enemies are randomised each playthrough. However, it's effectively made useless by the fact that the only item that's needed to beat the game is the key and that the player isn't required to fight the enemies. In addition, the attack range of the player isn't made clear, resulting in enemies not taking damage when they seemingly should, further encouraging the player to avoid engaging with enemies all together. The game could also make use of sound effects to further enhance the impact of certain actions like attacking.

Despite that, I still had a decent time playing this game! Well done!

I find it hard to aim at enemies, the art is awesome and the idea good but i find that the timer is just added ontop of a game that didn't need it

The attack is a bit strange, but it could easily be escalable; the game art is beautiful, and the items are fun. A bit more polish and some adjustments, and it will be very cool! Congrats on the submission.

The perspective of 2d characters on a 3d map feels a bit off. It's hard to gauge the distance to enemies. There also doesn't seem to be any incentive to fight as you can go around them to get items and go through doors. The items were interesting but imbalanced. Increased speed didn't feel that impactful, but being invulnerable trivialized the combat. The character portrait is really nice, and the overall look is consistent.

Good job getting all of this done in time.

Loved the art! I love beat em' ups and this was right up my alley. However, the 2.5D made it a little difficult to gauge where where I was attacking, and I feel it could've used some sound effects whenever hits connected.

I like the visual style, but it's pretty clumsy to play.  It's hard to hit the enemy. Overall, there is not enough Game Feel
