this was quite good!
Thank you for playing and for your kind comment, I'll try yours :-).
I liked the vibes of it, and the simple mechanics. The timer reset mechanic is too powerful so it becomes the dominant strategy eventually, I'd definitely tone it down or make it expire more quickly so it cannot be abused. Also many times the strategy for positioning is to just do small jumps rather than charge a large one, I'd love some minimum length and maybe add an indicator of the direction. Nice little game, I enjoyed it.
Thank you for tour comment, I'll try to balance all the timers in the next release. Love your game by the way, super fun to play!
Idea is great. But yes, i was confused and loved the type of tutorial you gave lol. I was scoring 0 points until i realized that the score is not time but the thing you banked. also, it's had to know how much will the thing go. the game looks great without missing things. And i believe this can be improved A LOT.
Thanks for the review, if definitly needs some clarification about the goal of the game!
Great job! The colors, minimalist design, and controls all felt great. Someone else mentioned it, but a charge-indicator would be a big win. I can see this being expanded upon in the future - I hope you keep with it!
Thank you for playing, the charge-indicator is the first thing I'll add as soon as the game jam ends.
I liked the idea of small tasks to earn time, and the game is good otherwise.
Thank you, on my way to check yours.
The idea is very fresh and the artwork is also very nice.
Constructive criticism - Currently it does not feel like a time crunch game if that is what you intended, it feels more of a strategy game because you can just reset time easily, would have loved to see more mechaniscs like a goalie that stops you from scoring a specific area or a timer for an area under which you need to score compulsarily to make the player fight for survival more.
Please play and rate my game as well
Thank you! I was actually aiming for a less stressful game, where the challenge comes more from keeping track of the different timers at the same time and planning ahead.
I really like the idea of a harder mode with a goalie preventing you from scoring. Thanks for the suggestion, that could be a great addition!
I'll try your game for sure!
Neat idea! After a little bit you get used to the game play loop and can start to strategize to rack up the points. I kinda wish there was a strength meter while you hold down the space bar though, would make it more intuitive! :)
Thanks for the feedback. I hope to implement the strength meter after the jam, shoul be easier to play indeed.
This is a very elegant and well executed idea, well done!
Thanks, I hope I can push this idea further!
I loove the look of this game, the palette, the flow, the choices.
I do find the countdowns being a bit less importante in the game, the multiplier one maybe the most accurate, the refilling one feel counter to the importance of taking action.
Thank you! I'm glad you liked the style and flow 😊.
You're right about the countdowns, especially the refill one. I didn't have enough time to balance them properly but I'll try to do it after the jam ends. Thanks for the feedback
A simple idea but very effective! Nice work ^^
Thank you, I appreciate it!
super nice clean graphics. I do wish there was an indicator for the charge of the robot. I could also see this expanded with thing like multiple balls, or different map shapes!
Thanks a lot! I'm really glad you liked the visuals.
I wish I'd had time to add a charge indicator too! It was actually something I wanted to implement, but I ran out of time before the jam ended. 😄
I also like your ideas about multiple balls and different map layouts, I'll try to implement it in the future.
Pretty fun, took me a rount to realize whats going on but second time i was good
Thank you for playing! I'm glad to hear you had a good time.
Really unique concept! I was overwhelmed by the explanation drawing but figured it out pretty fast! Thanks for making this fun game
Thank you for your kind comment. I was hoping to have enough time to make a full tutorial, but I only managed to throw together this awful image an hour before the game jam ended 🙂.
