I love the fact that the movement is based on where your guy is facing and not the camera, really makes you break out of familiar habits of controlling a character, this kinda just felt like my drunk friend simulator haha! (I didn't get very far cause my guy kept falling over) I love the effect that happen when he bumps into something (usually the floor in my case) Thanks for making this awesome experience

The concept is super fun but I think you went a little too easy, the first time I was distracted and didn't read what to do, but after I read everything, there wasn't much difficulty. I loved it when I did my first advanced bomb wrong and nothing happened so I thought I was fine, then I picked up the bomb and the screen just said KABOOM, this was amazing. Overall a great experience!
This game is so much better then I first thought it would be! The fact that you even have bosses is amazing! I thought that the upgrades would just be simple stat bonuses but there is also abilities, which is soo nice. One thing that could be better is the readability in the shop, all the text boxes kind off overlap making it very hard to read. Overall a really good experience!
All of the issues you are having are because of my amazing coding abilities haha! I couldn't figure out how to do loading correctly etc so I am deleting and reloading the entire game after each round, which takes some time so I needed something to cover it up (which is what the reboot screen is, thats why its so long lol). I really need to learn to do things like this better haha. The reason why the windows version doesn't load is because of the way I detect the game being done loading is when the fps goes above a certain treshhold (which is a terrible way to do it), I was able to lower this a lot for the web version right before the deadline (luckily someone called this out) but wasnt able to do so for the windows version as I was in a huuge rush (the windows version will run better if it would load), again im terrible at coding and things like this. Thank you for playing the game!
Thank you so much for the nice comment! Some more explanation is definitely missing from the game. As for the mouse controls, this is something I had thought about a lot as it was something that was brought up during testing but I couldn't really find a good solution to it in the time I had left haha. Thank you for playing the game and congrats with your 273 score!
The art is soo cool! I also really like the concept, having to defend your bomb and going down the levels. I wish there were some more cool unique upgrades/traps but awesome work doing this in 4 days! The music feels a bit too repetitive and harsh tho, I would love to see what you guys do with this game if you decide to continue a bit after the jam!
The concept of the map changing based on the time left is super cool! I felt like sometimes this did cause some unfair moments like spikes popping up underneath you without warning or platforms moving when on them (or maybe this was intentional haha idk) I really like the simplistic art style. Thanks for making this fun little platformer!
The mechanics in this game are soo clever! I really like having to start the countdowns/change the timer to change the platforming opportunities. The audio could do with some work, maybe it would be nice to add some random pitch variations to sounds that repeat a lot like the falling down sound, this could make it sounds less repetitive. Overall a great experiencem, I had a lot of fun getting the 3 pieces!
This game is HUUUGE, (sadly I don't have the time to be cleaning all of Alcatrash right now but I will come back to this haha) The cassettes are all bangers, I'm completely with Clyde on this one. I don't know if later on there are more powerfull tools to speed up the cleaning but right now it seems like an enormous task haha, also idk how the gravity gun works I seem to be only able to pick up one item, which is the same as picking up one item regularly :(
Thanks for making this awesome game!!
Hello there, thanks for the feedback! I feel like most of the complaints you have just come from the way you decided to play the game. I can tell you for sure that the people with the highest scores did not "try to not fight the enemies", as fighting the enemies does require more "skill", but will eventually also lead to a way longer survival rate. About showing the score after a run, yep you are right. I implemented a score in the last half hour of the jam so didn't really have time to make a full ending screen haha. Thanks for playing the game!
The game has great spooky vibes! I think the gameplay could be enhanced if there was some downside to using the flashlight, or not having enough time to always keep it on but currently if you pick up the batteries you can just always keep it on. The art style is super cool and the concept of having to always find 3 keys is enjoyable!
Ooh I saw this game at one point in the share your progress channel in the discord and thought it looked amazing, and let me tell you it also plays amazing. Its super well polished and highly addicting. I have a feeling ill be sorting numbers in my dreams cause man this game is satisfying! Thanks for making this amazing game!
I don't know what to say, this game is sooo good. Usually I try to find something that the dev(s) can improve upon, but this one I just can't. The game is booming with personality, the art style is soo good and the voicelines are funny af. I adore the upgrades and the cool twists that make each bomb unique and not repetitive to disarm. Thank you for making this amazing game!
This is such a great implementation of a simple concept. The fact its't not just click fastest but you have to do an order to shoot makes it a lot more interesting. I would have like something more of a countdown before the signal in duel mode (I don't know if it bugged or not) cause it training there was a countdown but in duel the button just changed color! Thanks for making this cool game!
