The game takes inspiration from the British game show "Countdown", but with a twist on the rules: instead of coming up with words based on a set of letters, you can use all the letters to come up with obscure words.

Hipsterdown was a neat jam entry! The idea fits the jam theme nicely. The strongest part for me was seeing the direction the idea was going.
Reached 11 Letters then forgot how to spell, really fun!! I wasn't able to play again without refreshing the tab, looks like it stores the last word you entered when restarting, but I had a good time playing!

Got to 11 and i swear i spelled infantilized right then died. love the idea wish i could go back and see if i spelled it wrong in the game
Thanks for the feedback! I searched the word frequency dataset I used to create the points, and it does not include the word “infantilized”. You probably got it right, it’s a limitation of the game.
