How does your game fit the theme?
Every few seconds, while dodging bullets, your assistant spawns a large parryable bullet that heals you and allows you to affect a second countdown: your enemy's ammo. The gameplay loop is made up of dodging, waiting for your enemy to run out of ammo, speeding that process up by parrying certain bullets. Parrying also spawns more bullets to dodge, making it risky yet rewarding.

this was pretty engaging and the variety with the bullet patterns was impressive for the amount of time. I was frustrated that I couldn't parry and move at the same time, but if that was the intentional effect of that mechanic then nicely done. I dig the music and the art too! nice work.
Whenever i play bullet hell. I always remember moon knight meme where he throw random bullshit
I genuinely enjoyed the game and really love the music. i am definitely voting this high.
That cool i like the art, i like the difficulty too, but i with that the menus were easier to navigage
Amazing game! This is a really creative take on the theme and it's a lot of fun too! if you wanted to, I think you could expand on this concept and make a full game out of this!
Good work here, unique take on theme and really fun game! Honestly, really addicting, I just couldn’t stop playing. The character stopping when you parry is a bit jarring but I got used to it, made me think more about when to actually parry! The art is amazing, too.
Oh, forgot to mention that I was impressed with the tutorial! There was a strange pause at the end and I briefly wondered if it got stuck, but other than that it felt like a part of a finished game.
Nice work! That horse pattern was quite a jump in difficulty, almost got me. I don't know if the order is randomized, but nothing after gave me as much trouble. Like a few earlier commenters, I can definitely tell which games you've been playing lol
I always found myself hoping the healing projectile would arrive just in time to save the day, which created some really fun and tense moments. :D That simple mechanic kept me engaged throughout. Great job!
I really like this take on the theme! Lives or time is the usual resource being “counted down” but here it’s the enemy’s bullets. I love that. The dialogue made me chuckle. Charming is a very apt word for this game. The parrying is a fun way to be offensive instead of just waiting it out. But man, it’s a really hard game lol.
Congrats on the submission! Really well done overall ^^
This game is great! I like the music and the attack patterns. It is cool it depends on your dodging and parrying how long will the fight take! One thing i would improve is that after you parry successfully you should instantly be able to move because it is so challenging to win the game withount taking a hit.
This is a real gem. I loved mostly everything about this, including my flashbacks to the Jevil fight in Deltarune. If I had to critique, I would say that parrying freezing you in place means that you eat bullets you otherwise could've avoided a lot of the time, but the creativity on display here it top notch. Love it!
Thanks! That was an intentional mechanic since it felt strange that one could keep moving while parrying, but it's good to know that it might not have been the right choice. We probably should have made the freeze be half as long or even shorter, maybe even leaving the freeze out all together. Thanks for your feedback :)
This one is super cute!!! All of the art is oozing with charm, the music is really nice, and the fight itself is super fun too! I think my favorite part was seeing the sky slowly move up as you progressed through the fight. It really felt like it had a cool sense of scale, and overall makes it stand out a lot with its contemporaries.
oh and shoutout robot dude
Really fun!! It's like cuphead + undertale. The art style was really good and the moveset of the boss were creative. really good job,I had a great time :)
