I really enjoyed the boss, having to thing where you move next on top of the usual combat :)
It seems like you can just avoid the early demons and go straight for the stairs, I'm not sure if that's intentional. It was interesting trying to time my abilities right, although I also had trouble keeping track of what was coming next and what kind of pattern it would be in. Managed to kill the devil on my last turn! 💪
Super fun! Getting Crypt of the NecroDancer vibes like others have said. Nice work!
This is a fun game and I enjoyed getting to strategize how to move! I like how the countdown theme fits not only for the devil but also when your skills activate. Nice work!
Devilish dealings indeed. I had no problem taking out creatures and then reached the devil and BOOM I died! Not a bug, just woah, it got tougher, hehe. Good game.
Got the Crypt of the NecroDancer vibes too, love how you twisted the mechanics! Managing the left counts requires some strategy.
Having to manage your movement in time with your abilities and enemies is giving me Crypt of the Necrodancer vibes a little bit, except its here its more strategic rather than rhythmic. I like it! (Did manage to jam myself into a corner once or twice and softlock the game though, haha.)
All the character artwork is great! I do feel like a different UI font would have fit a little better with the rest of the aesthetic, but UI is clear and the different descriptions on each ability is a fun touch!
Thanks so much for the review! There's nothing clear to indicate this in game and only in the description, but Spacebar is a wait action that will count down your abilities to help you get unstuck. I'll move the controls to the top of the description!
Oh, I see! That makes sense! I must have accidentally missed that while reading.
I like the sprites!
