At first i thought the scoring system only focuses on the hole, until i realize the pin also affecting it. Its nice

Reminds me of playing the pinball game on windows xp, would love that classic sound feedback that you'd get from those games, ding ding ding, it'd be so addicting with that xd, i like it, really good stuff here :>

Really nice visuals, love the skeuomorphic board design (<- did have to google how that was spelled and did not believe it). I think you could punch it up a lot with some classic pinball ping noises and more upgrades that give the player more diversity of choices. As is I found I mainly just found a range of launch power that yielded decent score and spammed balls around that region, but maybe you can do a lot better if you're more intentional about where to shoot; I only made it a few levels in.

Cool concept, really solid execution especially on the visual front.

Developer

Thanks. Yes upgrades can be more interesting and diverse. Quite happy with lighting system.
And congratulations on first place in narrative category!

Love the idea and the execution was great, too! I'm not very good at it but I like how quick it is to get back on the horse and try again so that each time you learn a strategy, you can implement it for the next try!

Lots of fun! Took a while for me to realize hitting the pins gives you more points, I thought it was just quality and the 2x for a long while. That made anti-grav much more useful. Had some trouble even then getting enough points, but had some runs of 5 games and got to see all the boards, just wish the ticket scoring was more forgiving! Physics and art were great, music was a great fit! Enjoyed playing!

Developer(+1)

Thanks you for feedback, activated pins will be highlighted in post jam version following it.
The difficulty is also probably will be adjusted to be more lenient.

Fun times. I assumed the art was pre-existing assets, but for original art made in this timeframe, I'm really impressed! The physics feel pretty good, though the upgrades didn't feel that interesting or meanignful. It had me hooked enough to keep playing at least a few more rounds than I intended, though. Good job!

Developer(+1)

Thank you for the praise and criticism! Yes, all art was specifically made for this game jam as well as interactive lighting system, which i think elevates background art (inside machines) and makes it look much nicer than assets just by themselfs.

Enjoyable game with an interesting take on the theme. Definitely took me a moment to get into it, but after that was pretty fun!

Developer

Thank you, appreciate the feedback!

this game lowk cooked me, definitely a skill issue on my behalf, it was still fun though

Fun game, and good concept! I didn't know how well the timer would work with the pachinko gameplay, but it really did add pressure and end up feeling like I was trying to race and count down faster than the clock. Good job!

Developer

Thank you, appreciate it!

confusing at first but really fun after I understood it. Maybe add a visual effect when balls upgrade cause I didn't notice at first. Reminds me of balatro but more satisfying to watch

Developer

Thanks for the feedback, will add those visuals in post jam version!

Cool idea - I had a hard time getting into a groove and it seemed like the balls were just draining down the hole to end my games :(. The machines are really nice looking. I got confused by the tutorial I think.

Cool game and the "machines" look really great.

I think the explanations on the start screen are actually so chaotic and overwhelming that instead of helping they made me more confused. The game and it's mechanics are self-explanatory enough that all the random text boxes and animations are not necessary at all.

After the first 30s of unnessecary confusion it was a fun experience and I can see it getting pretty addicting, even though I stopped after I played each stage once.

Developer

Thank you. And appreciate the constructive criticism! The player onboarding and menu system is something that definitely can be improved a lot. More tables (some with slightly different mechanics) are planed for the post jam version.

Cool game, reminds me of nubby game. can be expanded into a fun roguelike game.

Developer

That is the plan ;-)

I don't know if I'm bad or what but I had a hard time hitting pegs lol
