How does your game fit the theme?
The central mechanic of this game is syncing up the countdown of every employee so you can score enough money for when the big countdown runs out.

Love this!

My only criticism is that there's not enough goop. Check out GBAM13 and I's project "Goobert: The Dark Ritual" on his Itch page to learn more

This was a lot of fun! I got to week 7, and I had so a good strategy that I almost had enough money to cover the week before it started. It felt really stressful and rewarding, and also really fun! Awesome game!

This was really fun! The burning mechanic is great and I like how the different items each led to their own strategies, even the evil and intimidating death rock. Even the hats have detail, great job!

I love how nice the sprites look and the addicting gameplay :)

i work in a restaurant and i can confirm that this is an incredibly accurate simulation of my day to day life. i catch on fire most days at some point during my beat cycle

Developer

Realism was my biggest goal for this project and I'm glad I delivered an accurate simulation of the burger-making experience

There's so much depth in this game, great job! Very fun figuring out how to use all the items and keep everyone from catching fire. I don't know what compelled me to use the evil rock when I had no reason to, RIP Victoria.

Thank you so much! It seems the evil rock worked exactly how I meant it to lol

I reached week 18. I didnt think I would get hooked, but i ended up spending quite a time on it

Developer(+1)

Wow, highest I've seen is week 5 and I'm the developer. So glad you enjoyed!

I didn't know how to extinguish employees. Is it with another employee?

Developer(+1)

Yes, you need at least one employee who isn't burned.

I really enjoyed playing this, i got too week 3, I found it challenging, but it was really enjoyable when you got into the rythmn and the audio fit so nicely!

One thing id change if i was you is the fact that at the start you can get burnt in the first cycle and my first run ended there, maybe have a fail safe to stop players getting burned before 2 players are on the game board

Developer(+1)

Thank you for the kind feedback! I'm glad you enjoyed!

P.S. the game is programmed so employees can only burn if theres at least 4 or if you have $100. You should at least be able to hire more if they're all burned, unless my sleep-deprived code has a bug in it.

i really like this! i really liked having to juggle around my employees as they burnt up and had to extinguish them. really fun!

Interesting concept!
