After like 10 minutes I started to get the hang of it. Super tough level design & mechanic but it was actually surprisingly rewarding to figure it out! It's a very unique mechanic, turned out to be kind of like a rhythm game for me. Training my brain that pressing A means moving left but also shooting to the right was tricky. I got stuck on the "good luck soldier" level @ like 25 minutes lol. Would've been cool to see the time limit/hourglass mechanic be integrated better, I assumed it would be some big deal to run out of time, instead it just felt like an extra mandatory checkpoint reset every 5 minutes (although if I got fully reset to the start every time I probably wouldn't have played as long, maybe some middle ground?) Solid work!

Fun mechanic with the recoil but I found it a bit unwieldy and would have preferred to use a keyboard button. It also lagged a lot but that might be a problem on my end. The artwork in the background was distracting.

Love the idea. in my opinion i think it would be better to aim with mouse instead of A/D

I love your creative take on the prompt! The gun recoil is also an extremely fun mechanic.

Cool game, It's a good challenge and the main mechanic (shoot back recoil) is fun to use. If I were to give a suggestion, it would be to maybe make it more clear when you have reloaded, perhaps with a visual flash on the player, because even though it has a sfx, I took a while to realize the purple pillars reloaded the gun haha
