I don't know if this is intentional, but I found that moving around the world required using the shrink/grow to either gain more height or phase through platforms. I think there is a good foundation here, especially as the shrink mechanic seems really cool, but I personally couldn't figure out exactly what I was supposed to do. The fangs didn't seem to do anything once collected and the (teardrops?) didn't appear collectable.
