Love the art! Definitely reminds of NES Punch-Out!! Superb gameplay!

I love your game. Perfectly executed. Great theme interpretation and I also got this experience of "timing". I love the art and sound. Excellent job

I liked how if you do perfect counters. I really like the vibes of this game. I only managed to beat Marcus and El Toro. The third fighter was too hard for me haha. Nice work!

Very tight gameplay and mechanics, impressive for a 4 days jam, great work !

Thank you!!

Marcos beat my unskilled ass. I thought I'd get to play as him not against him smh, though love the retro style :> Good job fellas

Looks great, sounds great, but I suuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck!

The parry window/timing felt like I just have to press a lot, but it's mixed with lots of mechanics that suggest otherwise and where you have to use a specific move. It's kinda mash-into-dodge-into-mash. And for some reason I found that really hard!

I'm sure if I was better, I would have been able to get through haha

ok i confirm the spam strategy indeed does not work in later levels, even if your arms survive :(
anyway great game, looks and sounds great and i believe the mechanics are logical i just might be a bit tired to understand them

The game is really well polished and thought out. All the mechanics are easy to learn but hard to master which is the ideal for any game.

The overall game looks very appealing to play, and the music and sounds fit together well. The fantasy of becoming a boxing champion is one that has already been proven to work, and you've executed that really well.

I definitely would've like a closer view of the boxers in the ring, but the zoomed out appearance also gives you the opportunity to introduce bigger tougher opponents later on.

The only problem I see is that it is too hard to master, to a point that as a new player, I feel like the best strategy is to button mash since it's easy and it works. I saw  that there was a type of energy meter for the block and attack, but I couldn't find a good explanation for how those worked (besides charging for a powerful attack).

It could just be that I was missing something, but like a few of the other comments, I was unable to tell when I should block, dodge, or attack. The blocking and dodging also felt too similar,

Overall, a well polished game.

very enjoyable. super polished, hits are responsive, and the game is satisfying overall. this is the kind of game that goes from gamejam to published on steam. my only criticism is that it isnt immediately clear what to do, how to do it, etc

really polished & hits feel super satisfying - great job!

I had pretty much the same idea. But you executed it a lot better. Nice

Really fun although I accidentally found a strategy that uh. I spam left-mouse button and spacebar, as fast as my not-very-strong arms can do it, and at least for the first two fights it was a winning strategy.

Ow, my arms. I couldn’t finish playing due to no fault of the game, just because this “strategy” was working but it hurts to spam that much.

Amazing art work and music, simple and fun gameplay too, perfect for a jam entry

It's such a vibe. Oldschool NES-like fighting games were amazing back then. Took me back. ❤️‍🔥

Marcus sent me to hopital :(

No clue what the bars were doing but liked the art style. gave me a lot of old time street fighter vibes . and mashing my mouse like crazy helped do something hahah

I had no idea what was going on so I just mashed buttons and that worked surprisingly well.

As others said I think it may need some queries or more time of indication before hit of the enemies arrives, but the core is very very solid. Graphics and gamefeel is also nailed.
