Amazing game! Loved the simple but fun mechanic! I wish I could rate it... would have given all the stars!!!!

Simple yet really cool, do all those drawings and programming by yourself in such a short time is amazing. And the opening was creative as well.

Really fun idea! I felt like the amount of time it took to do it was very well balanced with how long you had. One thing I would say is that sometimes you do get kinda "stuck" after landing from a launch for a second.

This was actually fun! I was sad there were only two levels.

It's a simple game, and although the playthrough is short, it does a great job guiding the player around the jump-and-dash mechanic! I really loved your level design!

Submitted(+1)

Additional jump (dash?) in the air felt really good. And the cats! they were so cute... I wanted to play more but the stage just ended :D

Developer

I called it a fling, the cats is something I am proud of because I never drew a low pixel count animal before so I'm glad you like them!

Thanks for checking it out!

I really loved the feel of this game. The player just felt really good to move around. I like the point and click dash mechanic, could definitely see that it being explored further. Only thing missing really is just some sound to give the game some punch!

Developer

Sadly didn't have time do work on sound at all

Thanks for the complements and for checking it out!

Love the tuning on the feel of the main character. It's very satisfying to just move around in your world and that's an A+ for any platformer-type. I had several laughs at the various things I had to collect :)

Developer

Thanks for the praise on player feel & for checking it out!

I echo the positive comments about the menu countdown - smart and unique idea! Great amount of depth as well with the sliding. Nice level design too - varied with a good difficulty balance.

Developer

Thanks for the balance praise I tried to make it approachable for people who don't play platformers but found that people who are very experienced do have a easy time.

Thanks for taking the time to check it out!

That was a good concept man. The starting screen was also countdown and when i pressed multiple times it became faster. I really like that you gave a thrust to a jump by pressing left click. Fist level took me 2 tries second took 4 tries. It would been good if there was sound here

Sadly didn't have time for sound but thanks for the nice comments and detailed info on the attempts.

Thanks for Playing!

Hey! really cool game! I love when you push yourself through the air to save the little cats! I had a problem with the screen resolution though. Since I played on a pc and not on a screen, the game took too much place. I had to always use the scrollbars to see what comes next. I think it could have been great to use the size of the browser and to adjust the game according to it. But cool gameplay love it!

Developer

The gameplay fitting on most screens is what I was worried about on the web build I did try to make it 75% of 1080p so it would fit on most but sadly that doesn't seem to be a one size fits all solution.

There is a full screen button in the bottom right of the game but it's not too obvious when you have to scroll I realize now.

Thank for the praise of gameplay and checking it out!

oh I didn't saw the fullscreen button. In fullscreen the game is perfect! nice done again!

Reminded me of Bounce , that nokia version xd lovely

Developer(+1)

Looked up at bounce and even the diagonal level design is like something I made lol

Thanks for checking it out!

Countdown in the menu is funny :)
I really enjoyed it and would certainly play more levels. Turning the character into a rolling ball is a really nice tactile touch, especially with the deviously placed horizontal spikes. Very good.

Also appreciate the INSTANT respawn with generous checkpoints. When there's a countdown going on, you don't want to mess about.

More please!

Thanks for the countdown menu praise! I've had feedback that said they won't click it because they have to click 60 times lol.

Thanks for playing and checking it out!

Fun game. I like the use of countdowns everywhere

Developer

Thanks for checking it out! Ya that countdown concept was fun to play around with thanks!

I appreciated the bowling ball you'd turn into when sliding along the ground!

Developer (1 edit)

Thanks, glad you liked it, and thanks for checking it out! Gave me an idea of having a rolling mechanic for the ball mode!
