the polish was polished. super fun
I really really enjoy being able to click with space bar, being able to spam without destroying my finger is fantastic! The menu Windows vibe is also fantastic and amazingly executed!!
Very polish game, my mouse speed dropped a little when play so the virus is fast as hell lol :)
insanely well polished for a jam game, definitely one of the best entries to the jam, I couldn't put it down
Loved the art style and the concept in general. Very polished. Good work!
Nutty fun, gj! Old-school arcade vibes + honse
I feel like being able to click the 'x' to close the error popups mid round would be a nice touch, otherwise no complaints - super satisfying beating the first boss
So far, this is the most polished entry I've seen in the jam. I really enjoyed the roguelite approach to progression. I wish I could fix bugs this efficiently in real life!
This game is extremerly good! I invested in all the upgrades to auto-kill the bugs so I ended up just spamming my mouse button for homing missiles. my screen was covered in cracks, it was amazing! I really liked how I got so much more powerful each run. This game is super well made. Good job!
Amazing UI and Art. I love the computer OS based menus and the BSOD when you die.
I really enjoyed how the menus itself are imersive, and you feel like you’re playing right from the start.
Near-flawless aesthetic, snappy UX, intuitive & fun gameplay, and just all around a really good time with a skill tree that gives play sessions the potential to expand wayyyyy beyond the typical time one would expect to spend in a jam game. Awesome!
Managed to beat normal mode after some 3-4 tries. For some honest feedback, I didn't enjoy the shooting itself that much. I dunno, maybe that's just too much erratic movement for me. And/or a skill issue.
That being said, I did enjoy the upgrades (apps) and found them quite creative and fun. The death mark in particular helped me deal with more chaotic waves. Due to that, getting a mod to start with an upgrade was a huge help.
The artstyle is great, and a bit familiar, with the overwhelming amount of screen effects. However, the thing I liked the most were all the fake-OS things - the desktop, game over console with a bluescreen and such. Some great work there.
I gotta say this game pissed me off, but in the way that makes me wanna come back, like Siege or Brawlhalla or smth like that.
Honestly my only real critique is the cracks kind of hinder your vision, maybe adding some sort of transparency setting would be cool.
Other than that, swagtabular game.
Great game! the theming is amazing, and I love honse!
The connection to the theme was not super creative imo since it felt like a "do thing with a time limit" but it makes up with it due to the sheer amount of sauce
such a sucker for PC aesthetics (we tried to do something similar)
My screen looks like a toddler went to town with it :D
I liked the virus art and the gameplay, was quite addictive, good game!
The UI is crazy good, good job
Really creative and addicting, dying made me lag a bit though lol.
Honse.
Very fun game! Love the main menu and overall setting!
Loved the "Windows" menu, pretty cool!
the game is very fun and polished, i really like the trojan horse and the fact that it looks like it lags when you loose (i don't know if that's a feature or just my pc). Its also very hard for my skill level
