How does your game fit the theme?
In our game, the countdown is not just a score mechanic: it is a bird's lifetime. The player controls a bird with limited time to find a mate, perform courtship dances, and leave behind as many descendants as possible before its life ends. Every exploration, dance, and decision consumes precious remaining time. When the countdown reaches zero, that generation dies, and the player's journey continues through the offspring it leaves behind. This turns “Count Down” into a constant survival pressure. The goal is not to stop time from running out, but to decide what is worth carrying on before it does.

Fun game! the art was great and I enjoyed the mechanics of it and the overall feel to the game, congrats!

Great idea overall! The hand-drawn art is very pretty.
Found the rhythm aspect a little off-beat, unfortunately (it seems like I had to hit on the off-beat of the dancing song).
The overarching theme could be a bit more present; the 20-second life makes the gameplay a bit frantic, so it's hard to notice it.

Love the style of the art and animations!

I didn't expect a game about a bird's short life to hit me this hard. Every frantic little dance feels hopeful and heartbreaking at the same time, while the gorgeous hand-drawn art and music make the whole world feel strangely alive. I kept telling myself "one more run" just to see another generation make it.

Great job on this game! The art style drew me in, and the music and mechanics kept me!

I couldn't seem to get past the tutorial screen on Windows? Tried Enter, clicks, various keys; Esc closed the game. A shame because the art looks incredibly and I'm a bird nerd.

Maybe try to press the "X" button at the top right corner of the page? Ideally the panel would be closed by that. If you encountered more issues, feel welcome to reply! Thx!

Oh my God I must just not have clicked precisely enough. 🙃 Went back to it and gave it a proper try!   Shockingly hard but great art and unique take on the theme!
