When I was a kid, I wanted to work as a cashier because I thought cashiers could take anything they wanted from the store for free, haha. Really cool game. I didn’t realize I had become so bad at math. I think some music, more effects, and stronger feedback for the player’s actions would make it even better. Using the mouse wheel is such a cool idea too
Thank you so much for playing! I'll see what I can do if I ever expand the game more!
I love minimum wage job simulators lol
Hahaha thank you!
hey this was really god!
Thank you!
Really cool game, I love the artstyle ! I laughed when I saw the old woman coming with expired coupons and small coins T_T. While playing, I really felt like I was working under the desk, pressured by the clients and the manager :'D I'm not sure it is a good thing but some people play CashDesk simulators so I guess why not ? BUT I AM NOT A PRODUCT OF CONSUMERISM YOU HEAR ME ??!! x) Well done with the game !
Hahaha thank you so much! We tried to make the experience as authentic (and annoying) as possible!
Very reminiscent of one of my previous jobs hahaha. Well done!
Thank you!
Very funny little game! Could have used some background music, we all know how grocery stores sound lol
Yeah, we didn't have a music guy this year, might add some later tho!
i like your palette ,game everything all 5 from me
Thank you so much!
I like the art and beeps. Wish that it would get a bit bigger when full screen. It was a little hard to use the mouse cursor.
Fair enough. I'm still figuring out how to get a browser game fullscreen.
I love the art style and the concept of the game!! Really really cool. congratulations!
Thank you!
gameplay worked very well overall! very realistically frustrating when a customer dumps a bunch of tiny coins and coupons for you to sort through. if you wanted it to feel more tense, both music and customer reactions could do the trick- if you're taking a while their sprites could change, they could say little comments, etc, would make them feel more alive. had a fun time!
Great ideas, I'll consider adding them if I ever want to expand the game
Cute little game! I think some background music would have added a lot, but still really fun regardless!
Yeah, didn't have a music guy this year. Thank you for playing!
My work follows me even here ;'(
It never stops
I love cans
oh my god it's Can guy from this game!!
He has escaped!
Once again, I was reminded of some rather painful memories... Still, an absolutely great game!
Thank you!
I said "Holy sh-t!" when grandma paid with coins!! Would you consider to make full game?
After the jam we are planning on adding an endless mode! The code's already there after all :)
Cute, I think the artwork is a real standout here. I love the gamifying work like papers please and I think the rotating with the mouse wheel is a nice fluid touch.
Artist here! Thank you for your kind words, it means a lot to us!
5 Stars all over. This game is just amazing. I love it. Great job.
Thank you so much!
I like the game, The old lady gave me an expired coupon, lol!
Thank you!
Oh that sweet old lady that brings a lot of coins AND A COUPON :D I liked it!
hahaha, glad you liked it!
The game looks pretty cool and simple mechanic as well, should have anticipated the retail experience lol. Managed to get fired after 7 customers XD.
Great art and cool sound effects. Great work. Though it is a bit hard to grab the correct money sometimes (Especially the old lady with her coins, I think I miss grab her one instead of her 2 so a lot of miscalculation there)
I'm glad you liked it! The grabbing mechanic currently prioritises one's over two's, even though the two's are drawn on top. I'll fix it in a post jam update. 7 customers is a pretty nice score overall!
