The vibes are very excellent here. You nailed the mood of a chill jazz bar quite well. I think anymore than the two drinks would get pretty chaotic, so the balance here is well done.
Some small critiques I noticed:
* You couldn't abort a drink once you started. If I accidentally triggered "make cocktail" when I wanted to talk to a person... well I guess I'm making a cocktail now
* I wish the cocktail shake bar went away after you were in the green. As-is, I had to mix all the way to the end but the indicator makes it seem like if you go over that's bad
* I think drinks disappearing in front of you after you make them isn't ideal -- I wanted to immediately take the drink to a customer but I had to take extra interactions (and risk clicking the cocktail mix!) to get there. I'd love if the beer went to your hands instead, and you had the option of setting it down if you wanted to "store" it
All-in-all, quite moody and enjoyable. Well done!
Very fun game with some cool vibes! Everything felt very polished and easy to understand, from the interactable tutorial to the well developed pouring minigames. I think it was a good touch how the player was restricted from looking behind them, to keep players from getting confused since everything they need is right in front of them. Overall, this was just a fun experience with a great mood built through the art and music. Good work on this!
Like the game, and really like the vibe created by the game, really fit on the theme, like being busy for this
Fun game! You really nailed the atmosphere on this one. I sort of wish that it wasn't just one drink at a time though. If you could multitask, it would give a lot more meaning to the patience/temperature scoring. The timing minigames are already quite satisfying, and I have a sense they'd feel even more so if you had the choice to have multiple going at once.
super fun !! i love a nice bar game (tapper lol), and this was just as fine, pulling a perfect pour, mixing a perfect drink, i only wish there was more levels w more drinks !
as for me, it’s just a cool game
Nice visuals and sound design is good here. Fun gameplay loop as well. I got a bit frustrated having the 'mix a drink' station and pickup station next to each other, as I kept accidently starting to mix a new drink instead of picking up the drink I needed. Being able to cancel out of the minigame would also be nice.
Really good first game jam game, congrats on finishing!
I didn't realize that this was your first jam until I read the description. Even though the game is simple, it looks pretty good!
A minor suggestion I have in addition to what everyone else said was that the characters all kinda felt the same, even though many of them looked different. It would have been a cool narrative addition if the characters had dialogues that changed depending on the character model, although I understand that depending on your timeline and experience, this may not have been realistic to do in 4 days.
I love the atmosphere, it definitely fit very well. Due to me being able to rotate a good amount to the left or right, there were points I wanted to press W to go forward (as that because the left or right). Also the game didn't allow me to properly shake, but that may be an issue on my end. Overall this is amazing for your first jam game :D
Vibe cheack passed, playing in this game i imagine that i'm a bartender in some detective movie. It's quite relaxive, and work with gaming eviroment is really impressive! That all details in the form of glasses, bottles, even customers works together so well! You did a pretty good job my friend, good luck!
Plays nicely :)! The action tests feel great and I enjoyed preparing drinks.
Given the bar layout, my actions were very linear: ask, prepare, and deliver, handling each customer one-by-one. Some mechanics to break up this pattern and force me to strategize could make this more interesting! Some little things that could also improve the experience would be instant feedback for how well you served a customer (so you can quickly learn and adapt) and highlighting what action is selected (instead of having to read a text prompt while rushing).
For a first jam game, this is very impressive, well done :)!
nice game i really like it, it sold the bar tender vibe good job :)
Nice solid game, really fun would love some upgrades .but solid narrative , fun game. nice aesthetics
The vibe is perfect, I thought that I would face a significant learning curve but it became enjoyable very quick. Great on boarding, pouring drinks based on timing was really enjoyable, the music and sounds also fit the vibe perfectly. Great entry!
Really solid for a first game jam, nicely done! The two different drinks made for a good variety of minigames. Spacing out the customers was a good idea too, kept me on my toes.
I like the switch up of instead of the ingredients being the key factor its the timing. Really nice ambiance! I thought from the cover image it was going to be a horror game though haha. I was pleased to find it was a very cozy and chill time. The artwork is amazing. The drinking animation is really good. Kudos and great job!
Pretty awesome Idea I like the synty assets and the vibe. The gameplay is fun but one thing that would have been nice is a way to cancel because I kept having beers accidentally replace the cocktail I had made but overall really impressive for a gamejam game
Nice game! Vibes were great and serving customers is fun! I think the game needs more balance overall as some features, such as the drinks getting warm, seem to not be used much in actual gameplay. If you had some sort of upgrades to purchase between days or different mixing ingredients, different types of beer etc it would make it a lot more interesting. I think you've got something good here though, so good job!
This is really fun! Like everyone says, the vibe is great - the music, the dialog, I really feel like I'm pouring drinks for customers! Would love to see a version with more minigames like harder cocktails, maybe having to interpret the drink from ambiguous requests. I also didn't feel like I was likely to let a drink go cold so having more pressure from multiple customers would be a great way to increase the tension, as much as I liked the chill vibes :D
Maybe you can make cocktails in batches for high risk, high reward gameplay XD
Loved it, well done!!
The mood is just on point. love the game core
