There are two things: you have to cut trees until they will be 0 and the game has a 30 days countdown to meet the previous goal

Always a sucker for incremental games!

Think it needed a bit more "juice" to make it extra satisfying, but overall very enjoyable and a solid jam entry :)

I like the idea of incrementally chopping down trees, I just wish the upgrades had more impact. Like a powerup that makes you walk faster, or one that give you more wood per tree. I did end up cutting down all the trees :) Good job!

It's a nice cozy incremental game, but if you continue on it after jam I'd love to see some upgrades

- Upgrade to get more wood per tree

- Faster axe animation

- Hold to chop like others said

- More jump height. In this game it happens that thing that you can't reach some places only for a bit and you have to go all the way around the map. In the last day, I got +50 logs and didn't buy the last upgrade because then I would have to return to where I was and that was a bit tedious

I like that when you run out of stamina and go to chop a tree the next day, it remembers the amount of hits it had. Also yes, 30 days is a lot, 5 would make it more interesting

Finally, you're evil, when you chop all the trees, the vending machine robots tells you "let's go to the next planet" but you just go to the menu, I thought there was another level 😭

Hmmmm, I think the game could use a bit more action. I like clicking left click as much as the next guy but I think the pacing is a bit slow and the upgrades are really incremental. The cutting animations need to be more satisfying for the chopping to be more interesting and the upgrades should be better to keep you engaged. Nice try though!

Must... chop... more... trees...! I got weirdly hooked on this and had to chop them all down. Great fun

I played until I got about 3 upgrades. I was hoping the second "reduce hits" upgrade would be more than just 1 less swing. I think adding an upgrade to speed up the hit animation would've been nice. You have some really good foundation to expand this with better upgrades and more interesting terrain to traverse if you wanted to explore this idea further. I think it could even be an incremental in the end.

Reminds me a lot of incremental games I'd play on Roblox, like tycoons and such. I just kinda wish the upgrades offered a bit more, since right now, you don't necessarily even need them, as 30 days is generous enough. This is a solid start for a bigger project though! :)

Like other as said 30 days is super generous, i feel like 10 days would have been better suited

I had a relaxing time chopping trees and sleeping

Cool idea but it would be much better with some polish such as minor screenshake when hitting the tree, some focus on lighting and post processing. Great work otherwise!

Feel free to review our game :)

Superb!!!!

30 days is very generous :P

Was cool but felt sluggish.

The axe cutting had a nice sound effect but I feel as though it wasn't intresting enough for me to do it so many times.

Also would have been nice if the upgrades were order by price, got me grinding for the 50 log upgrade as my second one.

Such a cool little game. The upgrades are awesome, pretty well balanced and well polished. 5 stars

fun idea! I love the animation you did for the trees when you hit them with the axe, a lot of games in this jam are missing essential feedback like that. also, I would recommend some more work on the lighting, it's pretty harsh.

fun little incremental style game. I'd love to see more items!!

Fun game. 1 suggestion, it would be nice if we could keep chopping by pressing a button on keyboard or with mouse.

cool but it was grindy i also beat it in 4 days

I don't mind that it started out slow and tedious, because of the prospect of upgrades. that's kinda the whole premise of incremental games, right? but the upgrades didn't take me very far, it was still pretty tedious by the end, and none of the upgrades rly added more fun or intrigue.

Also I cleared the whole thing in like 3 days, 30 was kind of excessive, eh?

Developer

At the beginning, I put 30 as a random number, but when the end of the Jam was approaching, I forgot to balancing the game to have a more realistic deadline. With the current status of the game a 5 days countdown is more accurate.

Thanks for the feedback
