Developer

Thank you!

The feeling of waiting outside the elevator is perfect. That sound of footsteps made me feel so uneasy even for staying out a few moments, and having the stairs visible gives a great sense of dread. Brilliantly done on getting so much emotion out of the scene!

Developer

Thank you for trying the game!

WHY ISN'T MY FLOOR ON 0 AND WE START AT 36?! aside from that one artistic choice the rest of this game is a nice, if not-quite-there on the killer horror genre, sadly i only got to see the shark guy killer but the game loop was very fun and really flexed my memory skills, only to see shark guy enter with literal bloody bags and then i just spam the leave button XD. another polish pass would have made this a REAL horror game (and my above question)

Developer

Thank you for playing! The idea of going down instead of up hasnt really occurred to me at all during the delevelopment at all lol. And in the future I plan to change how the random-sprite works to me you see less repetitive characters and their killer varaints. But, Im still glad you had a great time

I dont think a dog is able to sing... (Nice game, I like the drawings)

Developer

Just wait until it pulls out a knife ;)

Great game Well done

Please rate my game Flip it

Really tense, well done! I now despise talking dogs. When the same guy got on three times in a row it was real creeping since he went killer, safe, killer.

Developer

Thank you! The randomness in this game can be a bit repetitive but I'm glad it made you felt scared due to it

This game really hits the spot in a way I can't quite put my finger on - not sure whether it was the minimalist, foreboding sound design or the relatively bleak environment, but it was genuinely unsettling having some really cute sprites being the things  I distrust. I'd absolutely love to see this expanded post-jam, it could go so many ways, and seeing the quality of what's here already, I'd be super interested to see where it ends up!

Developer

Thank you for playing, I'm glad you enjoyed it! I have a few plans after this jams too

Awesome job! I can't help feeling it would have fit the theme even better if the player had to reach the ground floor from their flat, but otherwise it's a really novel idea given the theme. Lots of tension, nice work!

Developer

Thank you!

Had fun playing it! The atmosphere and creepy footsteps added so much to the tension! altho i do feel sad cause i died at floor 30 even tho i did press leave, I was a bit late to notice it 😂
Well done!

Thanks for playing!

Great job creating tension, I would love to see a version of this with a wider range of characters some day!

This was really good, I'd genuinely doubt my decisions, especially the further I got and the more I had to lose! It felt tense and the sound of footsteps while you had to wait was really unsettling. I also loved the artstyle, and I think the combo of cute drawn characters with a creepy elevator was actually really good XD

Really enjoyed it!

Developer

Thanks! <3

I played a good amount of this one, the atmosphere created by the music and really good SFX made for a nice experience. There was high levels of stress as you hear the footsteps behind you at each floor you get off (in the best way)

Developer

Glad you had a great time! Thanks for playing

ha! I got to the 36th floor and the screen went dark. I immediately yelled "noooo!!!!" then it said I survived and then I yelled "yayyyyy!!!"

That is the definition of a really well done game. I very much liked playing this. Although when the delivery guy killed me I didn't catch he was talking like the dog. Oops.

Developer

Thank you for playing! XD

Reminded me so much of the old creepy Y8.com games I played in the school's computer rooms. Love the tense atmosphere that contrasts with the cute characters. It made the creepiness when you eventually encounter the killer much more pronounced. The only missing piece is a proper killing scene, which I assumed was cut due to the time constraint. What a lovely game. Probably one of my favorites in this whole jam!

Developer

Thanks! Unfortunately the jumpscare was cut due to time constraints. But yes, the animations are sort of inspired by another 3d horror game

The self-doubt, the atmosphere, and the unknown factors all combine to make this a great thriller game.

As I'm not good with horror games, I found myself counting down in my head just as the game's theme suggested.

Developer

Thank you for finishing the game!

This game has some great atmosphere, I was also ready for a jumpscare while waiting for the elevator to pick me back up.

Developer

Glad you had a great scare!

This game is sooooo creepyin the best way possibleI was terrified the first time playing, I was expecting a crazy jumpscare when the elevator opened. Incredible work!!
