Played this for so ridiculously long. Incredible game and I loved that buying new stuff worked off the same mechanics established for building!

Nice idea and pretty fun, my only real complaint is that I wasn't rewarded for building bigger than necessary towers during the tutorial phase (I know it hadn't even said that you get more gold for a bigger tower yet but it offended my engineering sensibilities to leave a tower unfinished)

Also could be wrong but I think I might have heard the line timer sound effect going off in tutorial levels that didn't have it?

Developer

Great point - if I had more time I would've been a bit more restrictive with how much building you can actually do in the tutorial - maybe just not spawn an infinite supply of blocks?
And yeah, there was a bug in one of the tutorial levels where the timer was triggering after it had already gone off-screen - well spotted :D

Thanks for playing!

A fun game that I can easily see myself sinking "more time than I have" into. The artwork is excellent, the soundtrack is delightful and catchy, the audio effects are a good fit for the game.

The concept of purchasing blocks that I was already seeing in the game seemed a little unusual to me, I didn't quite understand the reason for needing to buy them, but the upgrades or extra blocks I hadn't seen were a great fit for the shop.

Some extra features that may be good additions would include some way to 'lock in' blocks to stabilize the bottom of the tower, or blocks that glue themselves onto the stack to hold in place. Some of the builds got to the point where I couldn't really add any more to the top because there was no flat surface to put things on and they just slide off - so a block that would freeze in place could be pretty useful here.

Overall, a great game - well made, fun to play. Nice job!

Really fun game and I love how when you are dragging stuff you are not fully in control unlike other games like this. I was good at this so I am not sure if it exists but being able to delete stuff from your catalog would be good.

the most polished game we’ve seen so far! the art is gorgeous, the audio is on point! we love how you set the bare minimum to complete the levels but also encourage for aiming higher. really really love the game!

Instantly added to the GMTK 2026 favourites collection. Genuinely insane quality game for a 4-day jam, wow! If I had to give one piece of feedback, it would be cool to be able to rotate the items you're holding, but that might defeat the physics-based challenge.

This one was a lot of fun, the gameplay feel great and the style is fantastic as well! It's really satisfying somehow getting a crazy tower to balance when it really has no right to. I also love the idea that the monstrosities I created are somehow "luxury homes". Gameplay wise, the timer here adds a really interesting incentive to build up fast rather than setting a solid base, because you'll miss the opportunity for extra time if you try to fill out the ground level. A ton of fun overall!

really love this game. too bad I suck at it lol. maybe if you could put like a difficulty level to make it easier for people like me.

Dang this game is super impressive. So polished and genuinely so fun. I'm embarrassed  at how many piece I dropped and lost 5 seconds for... but yeah fantastic entry, holy moly.

This is awesome and soooo rage-inducing!! Super addicting, I could play this for hours. I was focusing so hard I stopped blinking so now my eyes hurt haha

Loved it! The art really pops and the mechanics are super solid.
I could imagine a competitive version of this working really well. It reminded me a lot of local multiplayer classic Tricky Towers but the way you pull stuff around sets it apart.

We can close the voting now, this is the champion for sure!!!

Really awesome game, I can really see this being a good party game with online coop! Similar to tricky towers! The art and sound is great too!

It's a truly beautiful game that is both cozy and hectic. Reminds me of a lot of physics based Tetris games, especially Tricky Tower with it's cartoony style. A way for the player to rotate blocks once we grabbed it would allow us to manipulate the tower with more precision but perhaps the difficulty to rotate blocks is part of the experience you are going for.

A decent concept, but by the time I was able to unlock new pieces to build with I was getting a bit bored of just doing the same challenge with greater requirements and frustrated with the unintuitive (for me) controls. Perhaps more interesting levels (gaps, ramps, steps etc.) or a faster start would be good. I did have fun with it though, and agree with the consensus that it looks and sounds great!

i was wondering how you managed to make something so polished in a short amount of time until i realised you used claude 🥀 still, the art and sound design are gorgeous, i really enjoyed playing

Developer

Yeah, sorry about that. I have really mixed feelings about AI generally, and I kinda use it against my better judgement, so I completely respect folks who are disappointed!

This was a fun game that I feel like I spent far too much time chasing the next level. Are you sure you didn’t build for the theme “out of control” because not once did I feel in control. lol

Very good visuals and polish. I like the physics puzzle idea. Great that finishing a level is not the most difficult thing, but then there is the extra challenge of earning coins and points.

Some minor suggestions: Would have been great if there was an incentive to build something that resembles a tower or some other recognizable building. Also consider making the music sound loop a bit longer, since it is a bit too repetitive.

Very fun and addicting game with tons of polish. I had a blast playing this!

It is genuinely hard to come to terms with how talented you are Rob.

This is incredible work, stick a fork in it and ship it(?)
